UPDATE: 4 months later, the ring still works as well as the day I got it, but the adhesive did fall off. I think this was because my case is textured, and I have no reason to think it would have failed on a smooth case. Fortunately, it came with 2 adhesive circles, so I’m just gonna put it back on.—Been using this for about a week, and I have to say, this ring was the best $8 I’ve spent in a while. I bought a Pixel 7a, which is too big for me to comfortably hold with one hand, but I didn’t like any of the cases with rings built in because they’re huge. I was afraid it wouldn’t adhere to my case because it has a little texture (“Crave Dual Guard for Google Pixel 7a Case”), but it hasn’t budged. The clear sticker that goes between the case and the ring is starting to peel, but so far at least it’s just aesthetic and not a functional issue.The ring itself works great. The hinge rotates around the disk, so it it’s super adjustable. There’s enough tension that the ring stays out wherever you put it. Even the weight of the phone doesn’t push the ring back in if I’m using it as a kickstand.I was really hoping I could find something that would allow my new phone to work with my magnetic car mount. The hold isn’t as secure as it was with my previous phone, where a large metal plate was built into the case, but it works about 90% as well. If I don’t center it well on the mount or the charge cable pulls on it, it will fall off. Still, I’m really happy about the functionality this was able to add to my phone!

This is hands down the best ring I’ve found. I prefer rings to the “pop-it” ones as they’re low profile and magnetic.I’ve bought dozens of these over the years from different brands and sellers. I’ve paid MUCH more for rings that get loose or completely break after a couple weeks. I WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER BRAND AGAIN.I wish I’d found this before throwing out 20+ other brands first.It’s the thinnest and sturdiest I’ve found! I can’t believe it’s still just as stiff as the first day after 90 days. These generally get too loose or completely break after a couple weeks, but we’re holding strong still! I get a lot of use with this – I have back problems that cause me to drop things A LOT, so I always use the ring when carrying or looking at my phone. I fold and unfold it 50+ times a day.I also love that it’s thin enough to fit perfectly when I put my phone into the car holder, and it’s strong enough to stay put when I use a magnetic holder. Yes, I have both in my car – a full holder behind my steering wheel for easy GPS directions, and a magnetic “dude” on the center dash for when my kid wants to watch videos in the car. This ring fits beautifully with both holders, and the magnetic bit is very strong and it holds my phone in place, even with my heavy duty waterproof case on.I used to have to buy these stupid things in bulk because they never lasted beyond a couple weeks with my heavy use. I hope these stay on the market, because I feel like I had to kiss 100 frogs just to find this one Prince!

Looks great, hasn’t unstuck in months
I’ve owned this for 8 months since this review, and this ring hasn’t come unstuck from my phone case or loosened at all. It’s still stiff as day one and holds my phone well, at some angles it will collapse but that’s to be expected unless you want to pry your ring open with a screwdriver. The Lamicall icon has faded and the polished finish is gone, replaced by a slightly scratched up stainless steel, but unless you look closely, it’s hardly noticeable. Great balance of function and aesthetic.

Durable, But Lacking Versatility
Having kids means that my phone is at their complete mercy, whether I like it or not. So, attachments like a kickstand or socket donât often last longer than a week.Surprisingly, this stand has lasted longer than most. It is fairly stiff after constant use, thick enough so it is not likely to snap or break, and doesnât cause any problems with magnet attachments in my case.That being said, performance wise, Iâm not too impressed. As someone with large fingers, itâs a bit hard to open the holder.It is also fairly small so if you hope to use it as a kickstand, you will need to attach it off-center and choose which direction you want your phone to face. Adhesion is sturdy, but the installation instructions were a bit confusing as it assumes most of the steps are âcommon knowledgeâ and skips explanation of some details.Overall, Iâd say it excels in durability, but doesnât over as much in usage.

I returned the product because i was looking for a magnetic ring and this was not magnetic. It came with adhesive. It looked well made and the gold ring was very pretty, but it didnât fit my need.

3rd & final updateI finally purchased a new phone last month, Feb 2023, and needed a new phone cover and ring holder to go with it. So naturally I bought this one again. I bought 2 different phone covers and rings to go on them. The surface of one cover doesn’t hold the sticker that goes in between the cover and the ring so I’m going to try to super glue that one to hold the ring in place. It’s just the material of the cover. My other one works fine although the sticker is coming loose in a few places. Trimming it to be the ring size might be better but I didn’t think of it. If I have to replace it more than once I’ll super glue it too as it worked well for my old phone. Aside from that, I love everything about this ring.The old ring on my old phone still hasn’t fallen apart though it looks nothing like it did when I first bought it. It’s remained the same from my review in 2021 and it still works. I’ve added a side-by-side photo of my old and new ring holder. I’ll always keep coming back to this one; it has served me well2nd UPDATEIt is now black Friday in 2021 and i am STILL using my first ring from Lamicall. It still works well although i am looking to purchase a new one in the next 6 months or so, which will be the exact same one as i currently have.Since my last update, my ring has lost its original coating, and the coating under that just about everywhere. The place where my finger touches the ring the most has even eroded some of the metal, or at least, that’s what I think has happened based on how it looks (if i remember, I’ll take a photo in daylight and post it)The pin that holds the ring attached to the base has come out of one end, but still holds it all together from the remaining end.I’ve super glued the ring onto the back of my case as after some time it just didn’t hold any longer; probably because of the shungite pieces I’ve shoved inside my protective case and not because of the ring itself. It just hasn’t got much hold with a back that’s bumpy and without super glue. Even so, i still use it and love it as i did 2 years ago and so far this has been my longest lasting phone ring ever. I definitely recommend 2000%1st UPDATE:It is now several months since I purchased this ring. It is still working. I never bothered buying another ring from someplace else because I figured I had spent enough money trying to find a ring that doesn’t fall apart. I got used to the size of this one, and now its large-ness doesn’t seem an issue anymore. I had one sticker come loose on me in all this time. I couldn’t find my spares and contacted the seller to purchase some, but they were kind enough to send me replacements without asking me to pay for it. Customer service is top and so is this ring. It’s lasted longer than my previous 2 combined. The dark color has rubbed off in some places, exposing a copper finish, but I really don’t care about that.I also purchased one of those magnetic ring holders that you push onto your car air vent from somewhere else, and it holds really well as well. I’ve increased my stars from 3 to 5. I’ll definitely buy again, though it looks like I won’t have to for some time.Original review:The ring quality seems made very well and sturdy. I’ve only had it for about 2 weeks though, and my previous 2 (different brands) lasted about 4-6 months so it’s difficult to tell just how durable this ring is. But, so far, it looks very promising.Application was easy and the ring works well. I like that it came with more sticky circles to change into new phones, or smaller rings? -> My only problem is that the ring is huge! I can fit 2 fingers in down to my middle finger bones, which makes the ring rather useless for my skinny fingers. The diameter is 1.5 inches / 3 cm wideI’ve contacted the company a few days after receiving my ring asking if they have a smaller size I could exchange mine for, but have not yet received a response, despite their email stating that if I had any issues I’d receive immediate attention 𤨠hence the reduced stars. Obviously their customer service department cares less than they want us to think they do. Hopefully I can find a smaller ring and make it work as well as this one.

I got tired of pop sockets falling off the base part all the time so decided to try out a ring type. I took some time browsing around and settled on this one as it seemed most trustworthy of the ones I saw. I’m really happy with it so far! I love the way it attaches to your case in a way that won’t damage it and that it comes with spare bits. I need to adjust my placement, I use it for when I’m doing product photography and my finger keeps ending up in the bottom corner of my photos so be sure to check your placement before you stick it on! It’s good and secure, isn’t loose so your phone isn’t spinning around on you and is really pretty too. I’m still getting used to using this style but I’m already a big fan. I definitely recommend!
