We’re revolutionizing the way that people understand their bodies. WHOOP provides unprecedented visibility into the relationship between physiology and performance, helping people reach their highest potential physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Who founded WHOOP?

Our founder, Will Ahmed, was a collegiate athlete who wanted to know how training was impacting his body.
After reading 500 medical papers, the research revealed that monitoring key metrics 24/7 did more than just optimize training— it could help you feel better, perform better, and live better.

What makes WHOOP different?

WHOOP only measures the metrics scientifically proven to make a significant impact on your physical and mental health. WHOOP delivers over 99% heart rate and HRV tracking accuracy and gold-standard sleep tracking.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS INCLUDED: Purchase includes an initial 12-month WHOOP membership, 4.0 hardware, Onyx SuperKnit band, and wearable, waterproof* battery pack. THIS IS FOR FIRST TIME WHOOP MEMBERS.
CONTINUOUS MONITORING: WHOOP is a unique wearable fitness device that offers continuous monitoring of physiological data, including heart rate, respiratory rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, blood oxygen levels, daily activity and sleep so users can better understand their overall health and wellness status and track their progress over time.

Track and log your daily behaviors like activity, diet, alcohol consumption, stress levels, caffeine intake and more with the WHOOP Journal. WHOOP then calculates which behaviors help or hurt your sleep and recovery most, making it easier to stick with healthy habits.

    Good info
It works. It’s waterproof. The information provided drives a desire to improve that I would not otherwise have. Basically, it is motivational, and the result is feeling better and clearer-headed. I have lost 6 pounds in a week, which might be too much, except my BMI is down from 29 to 27, and I have a ways to go. I’m just turning 75, so there’s plenty to work on for a while.

    It’s great!
For me it’s pretty great. I’m focusing more on my fitness and the Apple Watch doesn’t even compare. My band charged fast and last a lot longer than my watch did. It tracks a lot more especially with sleep. It does have a 12 months subscription and I like that because it really allows me to try it out. You can extend your membership whenever you want and I like that you can pay yearly. I know the reviews are mixed but I’m glad I bought this!

    Really disappointing
I’ve been a loyal Fitbit user for many years, and I must say, this product falls short in comparison. While my Fitbit stored data for years, this device only retains data for six months, which is quite disappointing.Cost: The price is significantly higher than Fitbit, yet it doesn’t offer much more in terms of features. Given the cost, I expected something exceptional, but that wasn’t the case.Sleep Tracking: The sleep tracking on this device is less detailed and less accurate compared to Fitbit. Fitbit’s sleep tracking is far superior and provides more insightful data.Value for Money: Fitbit offers a more affordable option with better features. Unless this device introduces new and special features, it’s hard to justify the higher price.Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable and cost-effective fitness tracker, I would recommend sticking with Fitbit. It offers better value for money and excellent performance.

Life changing if you take it seriously.
If you take the time to go through the app, learn everything and take it seriously, this is an amazing health tracker! It’s easy to understand, the heart monitor works well, and the data you recieve from sleep is awesome. This just makes you want to do better everyday in whatever it is that you do. The battery life is just fine, it’s easy to just charge the battery pack it comes with and slide it on your wristband, let it charge for a couple hours and that’s it. Mine lasted from Monday to Friday. Make sure to charge it for a couple of hours before you first use it.

Update: Customer service was slow, but they finally made it right!
Just a quick update to my review:Customer service was slow to respond, but they finally made it right. They sent me a new sensor and battery, and both work perfectly! I am changing my review from 1-star to 5 because I love my Whoop now!Original review:The battery pack will not charge the sensor unless I remove the band – see the attached picture showing that the sensor shows that it is charging, but the percentage of charge keeps dropping until the battery dies. I tried contacting customer service, but trying to resolve the issue with them is beyond frustrating. Customer service replied to my emails just once a day at best, and each time it was from a different agent that clearly did not read the history of troubleshooting already done. The only way I can charge the sensor is to remove the band, which is not the way it’s supposed to be used (you’re supposed to be able to wear it while it’s charging), but customer service seems satisfied with that solution. Count me extremely disappointed.

    Seems To Work
This is the first time I’ve ever had a smart device on my body. It seems to be pretty accurate as far as sleep and recovery goes. I wish it counted steps and I wish the app was a bit smarter when it comes to the activity I’m performing. Also, the charger is totally absurd. I took an international trip and forgot the charger. Didn’t have it for a week. It should be a cord.

Why to add the metrics that are not even accurate?!
The device does track all the things it says it does, However some of them like blood oxygen are absolutely random. I had my blood oxygen checked by doctor multiple times while using the device and it was always 99%, while whoop is showing anything between 94 and 98%.I get it it is not a medical device, but folks are charging subscription that comes to about ~1200$ over the course of 5 years (240/year), so it is reasonable to expect the device to be accurate on all suggested metrics. All the other metrics I can’t compare to anything since it is my first device of this kind.As a first time user the app is super overwhelmed with a million different things you can click on, but really needs only 3-4 buttons. The AI assistant is very helpful and is definitely a game changer for the app with a lot of unnecessary complexity. So if you can’t find something it will direct you to or advice on the matter. Also it requires to run the app (which is expected) at all times and it looks like it requires internet connection to do all the data processing.I found the device and app very useful for checking your sleeping cycles, registering activity, tracking your heart rate and strain during the exercise and so on.But so can many more devices that don’t require subscription and come at a cheaper price in general. For 20$/mo you can certainly listen to sleeping planer advices about how you need to sleep over 12 hours tonight to recover form activity. You can definitely use the build in planners of activity, recovery sleep and so on, but it doesn’t add any value for me.Every time you turn the alarm on, it will automatically stay activated for the next day for the same time, unless you turn it off manually or create a schedule for different days.As a person who’s alarm time and need in it varies significantly from day to day, I found this a little annoying. The device itself is pretty comfortable to wear, no complaints here. It is also super easy to charge. The design of the locking part of the bracelet doesn’t look trustworthy, but it works well.If not the subscription price, the rating would’ve been 4 out 5, considering the functionality and my personal pros and cons. But taking the price-value ratio into account it is a solid 3 stars.*Returning the device and switching to fitbit later

I love this product so far but at $40 a month it be just cheaper to buy a new one every year than it would be to Renew your service agreement.
