Good quality – overly complicated
This is a good reorders but has so many features and options that it can be cumbersome to use. Fortunately you can ignore the vast majority of all the options and get a simple good recording.It should come with an SD card, but otherwise a satisfactory recorder that is far superior to using your phone. Playback through the speakers on the recorder are poor but sounds fine if you use earbuds.

It’s still a new toy, but so far it’s exactly what I expected. I can’t speak for heavy or long usage yet, but other reviews in these regards were good. If anything goes wrong I will update this. In the mean time, I’m loving it.

High quality audio recording of a full high school band
We needed a quick, affordable solution to our inability to hold a full concert for our high school band due to COVID-19 restrictions on large, indoor gatherings. This device, when paired with our already available equipment, was more than up to the task in the hands of our capable Arts Department instructors.The four channels allowed us to capture and highlight different sections and performers as required by the musical selection, and the batteries in the device allowed for multiple uninterrupted recording sessions longer than an hour. We paired the audio recordings with a video log that our Arts Department filmed independently, syncing the two together during editing.We definitely ran up against some limitations as we were capturing music from over 50 performers all at once, but we were very impressed by how we were able to quickly pivot from our concert plans to a music video production by using this device. Highly recommended.

These are amazing units, I have three of them. I keep one in my studio, to record sessions with the band, one I keep specifically to take out on gigs with me to record the band at the gig and I keep one next to my listening chair in the family room.. The sound quality playback through headphones is CD quality. You can select CD wave form recording mode and transfer directly on to a computer to edit and then burn CD sound quality CDs. I’ve been using them since 2009 and the original one has had no issues and still works perfectly.. Great piece of kit for any musician to have from amateurs to pros alike I highly recommend them..

I’ve used this device extensively (but with care, not ruthlessly) and it has never disappointed.As a sound recorder – there’s no beat to this product for it’s price, simplicity and portability. The quality of the sounds is insane!As a microphone – I’m a voice actor, so I’ve done hundreds of recordings on the stock mic. The only issue is that despite using windblockers, air blows can be quite harsh if you’re speaking close to the mic. Need to use a pop-filter.The further away from the mic you go, it captures a lot of room tone/noise.As an interface/soundcard – Man, where do I start.. A mic that doubles up as an interface is God’s gift to mankind. I didn’t have the money for a soundcard and this one has served me without a glitch! EXTREMELY RELIABLE!Obviously it doesn’t have the preamps of a proper soundcard, but hey – you can compose and mix, record vocals, input guitars and other mics, so… *shrug*In summary, don’t even think twice. But when you buy it, make full use of its capabilities. ð¤ð¼
