Excellent value
Starting with its setup, the trail camera is a breeze to configure. The WiFi trail camera setup process is straightforward, allowing even those new to trail cameras to get it up and running with ease. The user manual provides clear instructions. The camara does require 8 AA batteries which are not included. In terms of performance, this camera doesn’t disappoint. The camera’s night vision capabilities, in particular, are commendable, providing clear and detailed images even in low-light conditions. Perfectly designed to withstand various weather conditions. I highly recommend this camara for its performance and value.

Easiest Set Up
This camera is compact and full of features. I was surprised at the size and the quality of the case and all the attachments. Usuay field cameras are bulky and obvious. This is attached to.out 4×4 post and has a clear view of the entire backyard. I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. Cant wait to see what it captures when we are not home! Great value for the features and ease of use. The app works beautifully and is user friendly. So far i gi e it a ð and 5 stars.

Excellent Trail Camera and Outstanding Customer Support
I purchased the XTU Trail Camera with WiFi Bluetooth as a way to capture images of the animals that frequently visit my property. Ordered the Trail Camera and it was delivered the next day. Setup with the cam was easy using the manual. The app works well and the camera takes excellent pictures/video. I was very impressed with the outstanding Customer Support. I reached out with a few questions and they were very knowledgeable and replied right away. Even followed up on their answers to my questions and to see if I was satisfied with the camera. I will definitely be a customer for other XTU cam products in the future.

Good video quality, bad on batteries
9/6/2924 – Update to original review and reducing the rating. After getting new batteries and installing them, the camera initiates startup, but then shuts down. Used the same brand name batteries as first used, but the camera will not work.The video capture quality is great. The batteries only lasted 6 weeks. This camera takes 8 batteries, which will increase the cost of operating it significantly. I would not purchase another one.

Never got past the app
Got the camera, downloaded the app, and my tablet crashed. Never even opened the app. After crashing the first time, the tablet restarted and all seemed fine until I tried firing up the app. Tablet crashed with authority! Took forever to reboot.After an hour of fiddling around I got the app uninstalled. It was harder to get rid of than a virus. My tablet has not been the same since. I have read there are third party apps that would work well with this camera, but I needed an out of the box solution that I could get up and running easily.The camera might be great, seems well reviewed and solidly built. But I don’t have the time to search out and pair it with a third party software solution. For someone with just a little time to fiddle around with it, I’m sure it would work out fine. Me? Sending it back at my expense.

Good resolution, easy to set up, great app for phone
The XTU trail cam is a huge step up from my Tasco/Walmart basic trail cam. The XTU has great resolution. I tested in my front yard at 20 mp but it goes up to 48 mp ! The camera has a built in LCD screen and the app is easy to set up. It hooks up to wifi really quickly. I could view from in my house on bluetooth and the images are really sharp. I plan to set it up in my garden and down in the woods by our creek. It has micro USB and DC power inputs. It has no problem picking up activity from squirrels and doves so should work great on larger wildlife. You can set the video clips to :10 and longer. Much better user interface than the Tasco menus. Moved to creek and got a nice deer pic.
