Hadley Hunter has lived a normal life, in a normal suburb, with a normal job and a normal father. All that changes when a grandmother she didn’t even know existed dies and leaves her a fabulous lighthouse on Moonstone Bay Island.
Hadley, ready for an adventure, decides to check things out and finds herself plunged into a world she never envisioned.
From the naked woman swimming in the ocean outside her back door, to the hot sheriff who seems to be hiding a secret, Hadley is intrigued from the start. That’s before magical things start happening – including to Hadley – and a body washes up on the beach.
It seems Moonstone Bay has a killer on the loose … and he may be stalking Hadley, although no one can figure out why.
Things are about to spiral for Moonstone Bay’s newest reluctant – and baffled – witch. She has to learn about the past, investigate the present and hold on to her future for dear life. Along the way she will meet a bevy of new friends who have a few particular abilities … and a lot of really odd quirks.
Set sail for adventure, because once you visit Moonstone Bay, you’ll never be the same again.

Good read.
Not what I was expecting after reading several other books by Amanda Lee but it was good and I believe I will read more of this series. Thank you for taking the time to entertain us with your imagination and writing.

Loved the start of this series
No words are enough. Ms. Lee has a way of storytelling that is fun to read. I laughed out loud, snarked with the main character and giggled about the ghosts. Can’t wait to start the next book.

Witchinâ USA – book one
A fairly fast paced read to be sure! There was apprehension, surprise, fear, and a good fight all in the first book! A few laugh out loud parts as well as creepy parts that, I must admit, gave me nightmares the first night after reading the first half of the book.Characters were interesting for the most part, but Iâm hoping they will be more developed in the following books of the series.Storyline flowed smoothly, but there were a few times this reader had to reread a few lines to try to understand what the author was trying to convey to the reader.Bring on Book 2!

Smiles
I like the witty characters and the oddly absurd yet almost mundane life adventures they have. Thanks for the smiles!

Nice read
I really liked this first book and want to jump right into the next. I like the personality Amanda gave Hadley. She is quirky, snarky and dramatic all in an entertaining way. I have enjoyed all of Amanda’s books so far. She doesn’t make her main character irritating.

Hadley comes home.
I liked this book. I liked the characters and I liked the humor. Somethings brought on a smile, others a laugh, there was always some point of interest on most pages. The storyline, even without the murders, was not bad. At the end, I could not help but wonder if the murders were really necessary. As a matter of fact, I remember the names of the first and the third victim but for the life of me, I cannot remember the third. The identity of the perpetrator was not difficult to guess, the reason for carrying out the deeds was a bit off. I am still wondering what Hadley’s magic skills will turn out to be.A good read.

Absolutely loved this from the first page the characters are fantastic and with the great mystery snark and funny moments I couldn’t put it down I’m now going to binge read the rest.
