Daughter enjoys playing songs from this book
Bought for my daughter. She loves listening to the songs from the Wicked Musical. She has been playing the Saxophone for 2 years. She says the book is challenging but not too hard.

Would rather have actual soundtrack on the CD
I bought this for my 14yo daughter. Overall, it’s a good purchase. The music is instrumental, with music for the cello to play the melody along with the CD. The cd also has a bell-sounding instrument playing the melody, which I’m not a huge fan of. I think she’d rather be playing along with the actual soundtrack (we have it – I haven’t checked to see if the key signatures match), and perhaps even playing a more traditional cello harmony rather than the melody. But I still think it’s a fun product for a beginning cellist who loves “Wicked!”

I love the Wicked music
I love the Wicked music, so I was excited to get this book. If you listen to some of the songs and try to play along, some of the songs do not match up with the keys in the book which is a bummer. They have all the great songs from the musical in the book.

Watered Down
First of all, I know Wicked like the back of my hand. This book is fun. The music is watered down, and not much of a challenge. It’s fun to play though:)

Its very good but I wanted the cd like it says in the description. It does NOT come with a cd however it DOES have the audio access instead.
