Human modus operandi finally revealed… in a simple and easy manner!
As a life-long believer and practicioner of self-help and self-improvement, I was blown away by this book!Concerning books in the area of self-improvement, I do not give ratings or recommendations if I read something and didn’t try out the methods and practices outlined. Because I am looking for results. Well, Mateo delivers. The difference this book made is in how it clearly and easily explained how beliefs are made and how they affect our lives. How our mind creates our reality. I knew about the importance of beliefs, but after reading Mateo’s explanations, it finally clicked for me. There are no esoteric or scientific abstractions here, but easy, straightforward explanations that can be understood by anyone. More importantly, he gives real-life solutions – exercices and techniques that if put to practice will yield results.I followed his instructions step-by-step, didn’t skip on anything and didn’t even proceed until I fully understood and reflected upon what I read, section after section. I have been practicing his Belief Changer technique every day for a month now, and some miraculous things started to happen! One of the areas that I focused upon are relationships and people that are in my life. Suddenly, people around me started boosting my self-confidence, are way more fun, friendly than ever before, even some that used to be egoistic. Some have begun displaying delightful traits of character that I didn’t even know they possessed in the first place – and I thought that I’ve known them for years! Requests to connect on social and professional networks are coming out of the blue, almost on a daily basis.Seems it is definitely true that once we change our internal world, the external world will reflect this. 🙂 I highly recommend Mateo’s book, but don’t think that reading it will create miracles. You have to be willing to be extremely honest with yourself and dedicate a small amount of time each and every day to practice the techniques described in his book. Godspeed and may all of your dreams come true!

More Than Just Positive Thinking!
Since listening to Earl Nightingale’s ″The Strangest Secret″ as a preteen, I’ve been a huge fan of self improvement and self development, so I’m always looking to expand my print and audio-library about how to make myself a more effective person in all aspects of my life. What really struck me about this book first and foremost is that it wasn’t touting just another ″think positive and things will work out″ ideal. The book really breaks down what your beliefs are, how they are all relative, and how understanding how your own interpretations of events can either benefit or harm you. You can’t stop yourself from taking real events and interpreting them in various ways–this is a natural human function–but once you become aware of the network of beliefs that help create your own reality, you can confront and change them so that by acting with different assumptions, you can get different results.I especially loved the author’s use of questions in order to help you confront your core beliefs about various subjects, and also the examples he used including something simple like ″You can only be a good person by giving constantly to others″ to unpack the network of beliefs that cluster around and form this belief, and then decide if these beliefs really make sense to you in your life. I found the information in this book to be immensely helpful, and I’m definitely trying the techniques I learned in my daily life! Great book!

The author states, ” we don’t have peace on earth because of people who know the truth and shove their reality down the throats of others.” Then he continues to state. ” No concept, theory, or word can ever contain the whole truth because everything is relative.” I don’t agree with his statements outright but there are partial truths to his notions. The primary downside to his theory is the fact that we do live in a world where influencing and persuading other individuals is a pertinent skill to master and this is never mentioned in the book and seen as inconsequential because we can construct our own reality and other peoples realities are moot . If you completely throw away hazard and dismiss societies notions and common perspectives then you may become ostracized. For example if a woman decides she doesn’t need to bathe anymore because it’s a waste of time and believes that anyone that has a problem with this ideology is inherently wrong. After a few months have transpired we see the apparent problem with the author’s mantra that we can create whatever meaning we want. That may be true but the woman in the example would probably be fired from her job and lose her friends due to her smell, but she may convince herself that she is happy with her beliefs even if her whole world falls apart. Thus, even though you changed your limiting beliefs and may be happier it doesn’t mean you will be more successful, but once again being successful is subjective and prone to manipulation through your limiting beliefs. The author also states there are no absolute truths. I disagree, I know of many absolute truths portrayed by God thus this is a spiritually guiding book but it readily dismisses religion as having subjective and fallible wisdom. The book also could have been a third of the size but this seems to be a commonality among most self-help literature. Overall, I postulate that the author’s theme that we have an innate ability to create our own experiences and reality by constantly shaping, molding, and creating meaning is mostly true and that in following his guidelines you can improve your life drastically, as I have improved my life concerning depression and its grasp on my reality but God has a place concerning truth and societal expectations also have their place to some degree. I give the idea and it’s implications 5 stars but the author’s writing style, overall coverage and implementation of theory, and dismissal of God or external events as having some importance 3 stars. Thus, I came up with my 4 star rating.

Fantastic book that I’ve ever read. The author shows how beliefs are formed and what are their roles in our life. The book will give you the clear understanding of the human psychic system and very powerful techniques to believe in success, health, wealth etc.

A true manual on how to rediscover who you are and how to live a happy life. I’m thankful for having heard about this book on the Knowledge for Men podcast, and I can’t wait for Tabatabai to publish another book!!

It’s hard to describe, how positive this book effected my life. I read many self development books and but none of them hit home like this one. I can truly say, this book gave me a piece of mind and ease I never experienced before.I love this book. I can fully recommend it to everyone who is searching for a way to enjoy every single moment of life. This book is written for everyone, regardless of age and circumstances.

This deals with the way we interpret our world and how our automatic reactions to events and people can cause us to suffer. We are creators of our own experience and can improve the quality of our lives by changing limiting beliefs. There is much to assimilate – how beliefs are created, how we can change our rules in life and the importance of awareness and self-enquiry. I found thie book different and eye-opening.

This is not the type of book I often read, having said that I have to say it was an excellent read, thought provoking, and until I read it I did not realize that I am actually not a prisoner in my own mind, although I know many people who are that would be helped greatly by reading this book, which is why I am giving it 5 stars. If is in fact a fascinating read written in a way that anyone can understand and in my personal opinion benefit from, if nothing else it will open up your mind and in consequence free it.
