The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America. It superseded the Articles of Confederation, the nation’s first constitution, in 1789. Originally comprising seven articles, it delineates the national frame and constraints of government.
The Constitution’s first three articles embody the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress (Article I); the executive, consisting of the president and subordinate officers (Article II); and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts (Article III). Article IV, Article V, and Article VI embody concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments, the states in relationship to the federal government, and the shared process of constitutional amendment. Article VII establishes the procedure subsequently used by the 13 states to ratify it. The Constitution of the United States is the oldest and longest-standing written and codified national constitution in force in the world today.

Everyone should have a copy!
Small and portable, but type is normal and readable. A required resource for every home and should be taught to children as schools do not teach The Constitution of the United States. It is imperative to differentiate between THE CONSTITUTION and constitutional law which are not the same.

It’s the prayers and dreams of America and it fits in your pocket!
You can buy a more expensive copy, that will fit in a pocket. I don’t have that kind of money, but I was researching the Constitution so much, because of the criminality of our DC employees, that I thought it would be handy and it is! All our wants, all our needs, all our wishes, and hopes, in a tiny Pocket Edition! God bless the US, and God bless our Constitution!

Used for Con Law
So light and easy to reference in class during con law. After the final I took a sharpie to the cover and wrote âfartsâ over United States and over independence. Just because I was so done!! Wish I had it during admin law. Useful and easy to carry when your books are over 10 lbs each

Greatest document, second to the Bible
A great handout to introduce the Constitution to those who were deprived of Civics in their education. Understanding our unique form of government that has served us 275 years! Longer than any where in the world.

pocket sized
Nice pocket sized version. Great to carry around or have in the car. Always handy when you encounter some of the people who are supposed to uphold the law and have no clue of what the law actually is.
Débora Souza –
An important document for studying, the small size makes it good for transportation

Exactly what I was hoping it would be
Kimberly Grefberg –
This should be not only in the library of every single American home, it should be on a readily available surface to be picked up during every newscast or legal dispute. Every American citizen should know this document backwards and forwards, because citizenship is not only a right, it is a responsibility.
