What a neat book!
I was thinking of Christmas gifts to give out and I know A LOT of people who would love to learn about making money at garage sales. When I received this book, again I was going to give it away but it was SO intriguing and such a delightful and well written book to read that I just kept it, my friends are on their own! If you are even considering making some extra money and love garage sales like I do, then this is the holy grail of garage sale books. Chock full of extremely valuable information. As Mr. Blakely says âHappy Sailing!â

It’s an easy read, full of very useful information.
I thought this book was fun to read and there was a lot of information that I found very useful. I don’t know if I’ll be going ‘garage sailing’ any time soon, but if I do, I’ll follow some of the advice Blakely gives here. I think he’s got some very good ideas on how to profit from buying and selling garage sale items.The book starts out a little bit like an Amway presentation. Blakely introduces the book by telling you how easy his system is and how anyone can do it. Then he gets you to start thinking about the money you can make and all the things you can do with that money, to get you excited about actually following his advice and going out to make money by ‘garage sailing.’ I think Amway calls that building the dream. After he has you excited about the money you are going to make, Blakely gets into the nuts and bolts of his system.Blakely has a system of going out on Saturdays and shopping as many garage sales and yard sales as he can to buy items at very low prices. Then he resells the items online for a profit. It’s a pretty simple concept, but there are a lot of details that are important if you want to be succesful at it, and Blakely covers them very will in this book. It’s an easy read, full of very useful information. If you want to try buying and selling for profit, then this is a great book for you and I highly recommend it.

This book brought up so many points about garage yard and estate sales that I never would have even thought about . The potential is great out there and I am so looking forward to seeing Blakelyâs methods and experience show a nice profit for his readers and have fun along the way. Highly recommended if you want to start a small business venture with $100.00 in your pocket and a full tank of gas. I loved that line and evidently it works! Great book

This was a great book to read! Honestly, it didnât offer me any mind-blowing, earth-shattering insights that I hadnât already have/know, but it reinforced the tactics I was already using and having small success with.

Kudos to theIf youâre just starting out (or even if youâve been at this for a while), this book is full of useful information in finding items, selling the, organizing your time, and more. Highly recommended!Right after reading this I went to a yard sale and walked away with several items worth FAR more than the asking price. Before this book I wouldnât have even stopped to look at these particular items. Give it A try!

What a FUN Read
Great read! Even if you never intend to go to garage sales the cool stories alone are fun to read! That said, I now look at garage, yard and estate sales in a complete differently light. I never knew how much value there really is at these things! I am not really looking for a side business but I am VERY interested in buying things for my own use or for my friends and family, I love this book!
