Versatile but requires condensor microphone for vocals
I wanted a device that could take audio input from a soundboard or a music player, mix it with my vocals and send them together to my computer. I play D&D through Discord and Roll20 so there were times I wanted monster sounds, screams, and other sound clips to be added to my vocals to create atmosphere and just for fun. The G10 Audio Interface does provide this functionality along with a lot more, some which is useful, some not so useful. Even though the device will mix various audio sources, instruments, audio players on phones and tablets as well as a microphone I experienced several difficulties.1. You have to use a condenser microphone. Dynamic microphones simply do not produce enough signal, so you’ll have difficulty matching the volume of your other devices as well as the G10 Sound pads with a dynamic microphone.2. Since I’m playing D&D with others through Discord, the audio output from Discord to my headphones does not include my vocal input. This is not a bug, it’s just the way all conferencing audio software works. But for me I had to add a small mixer so that my Discord audio output could be mixed with the G10 audio. Then these two mixed streams were went to my headphones. Otherwise I had not idea whether the other audio streams being sent by the G10 were balanced with each other.3. The G10 has a small soundboard that it calls “Instant Trigger Sound Pads.” Some of them are useful and fun, but it would have been more fun if the G10 gave the user the ability to substitute their own sound clips for the stock clips.4. There are also additional sound effects that can be added to your mix, reverb, voice alteration by “timbre” or pitch. Though there are many settings, only a few seem really worth using. The rest are just ugly sounding.I did find several added features useful.1. Reverb depth and length was individually adjustable making my voice very dramatic or just downright hilarious.2. Denoise did a pretty good job eliminating hiss and static.3. Included with the G10 are number of audio, device and microphone cables that I found very useful in hooking everything up.This little device does really try to do a lot of things in one box that’s a tad pricey. Because it packs so much, to get the full value, you will have to read the instructions very carefully. If you need more help you can find to good tutorials on Youtube. I would recommend those done by Jendstuff.

Great investment
This is the best investment I’ve made for my pc. Using it for hearing myself back and just funny use when in discord and such and well worth the money. Microphone too is pretty good quality also.

DOES NOT WORK!!!
I was so hopeful about this but after trying it over and over I’m just irritated!It doesn’t work. It doesn’t; show up on my MacBook Pro. The lights on the face don’t turn on. My microphone doesn’t work with it.I’m angry and frustrated now! I really wanted this to be great!
