Loved this book. Straightforward. No Sugar Coating. Tough-love guide.
A straightforward, well-organized book that really nails how to think about money—and, more importantly, digs into what might be holding you back. It covers everything from making money to forming better money habits and investing. Most books skip some of these, but this one hits all the bases.Lots of tough love in the book, but it’s the tough-love that really hit home for me.Definitely recommend.I am already ordering extra copies for Christmas gifts.

Great Book for Changing How You Think About Money
Start Thinking Rich turned out to be exactly what I expected. The book is about money tips and changing how you think about money and wealth. The authors, Adrian and Brad, shares some hard truths that might be tough for some people to believe, espcially for folks who don’t have the rich wealth mindset. Instead of focusing on getting rich fast, it helps you understand the mindset you need to build wealth.I think it’s a great read for anyone who wants to improve their finances and their attitude toward money.

    Unique Insights
Having read 100+ books on finance and psychology, I can say that this book is not just recycling insights from other books. It contains original concepts and strategies from 2 credible experts who’ve learned these lessons in the real world.

    Bad and inappropriate information
Suggest gamble your money on stock exchange, live in a van to save 95% of your income and never spend this is how you can get rich. Also disconnect with poor people. This is very discriminativeDo not waste time on this book. Very bad advice – never get rich with that

Reads like your favorite finance book but not as good.
I want to give this book a thoughtful review, not just a bad one. When reading this book, it felt like a mix of Dave Ramsey and Robert Kiyosaki for the grind set, bootstrap zealot-style advice on starting a company and grinding for decades to make a million dollars. It also felt like it wanted to be something that contributes to the FI and money psychology space, like Morgan Housel, Jason Zwieg, or Ramit Sethi…but not as good.I did like certain parts of this book’s tone, such as the locus of control mindset, but where this book mainly misses the mark is parts of it make you feel like money is the goal; when the author talks about how much money they are making, it was weird. I’ve spent the past decade building wealth; learning money is a tool, not a goal. I don’t need to change that now.The book is written by two vastly different people, who could bring useful insight with their diverse backgrounds, but it didn’t land for me. Going from poverty experience to grinding, talking about college, building a business, and wealth felt jarring. I’m not entirely sure how many times they mention they grew up broke, but by the sixth chapter, I had heard it multiple times. This book will be useful to the people who “need” Dave Ramsey. People who are down and need something radical to change their situation. This book isn’t for someone familiar with FI or people on their FI journey. Many other books in the FI space are more well-rounded than this if you’re looking for investing or money psychology.Side note: In one of the chapters, they pitched their investment services (no harm, no foul) but also pitched a “free” script exam, which sounds cool, but when you go online, they sell it, too. The whole thing felt like a gimmick between an influencer and an author.
