Perfect
This fits perfectly on my necromancer staff top, and amplifies the sound loud enough I can sing to it and drown out the schizos. The sound is great, and I feel like it isn’t so loud when I sit in a park cops hear it a block over. Just loud enough I don’t have to completely blind myself with headphones, and can drown out nonsense with progressive rock music. I bought it for my necromancer staff, so I could play tunes while I sing and street perform. And I am very happy with it. I wouldn’t want it any louder, and the quality is very nice, especially when I put the staff on my shoulder with the speaker right next to my ears.

Quite a bit better than I expected
BACKGROUND:I’ve tried a lot of different portable and computer speakers over the years and I’ve never really been that impressed with any of them. So, when Vine suggested this one to me for a review, I was skeptical to say the least. I fully expected it to be like a lot of other Chinese speakers that I’ve seen over the years — muddled and lacking in high frequency and bass response.INITIAL OBSERVATIONS:According to their ad, this speaker can be combined with others of its type and they can all be playing from the same Bluetooth source in unison. A single speaker sounds good enough in my testing in a fairly small area, but I would have really liked to have been able to test it with multiple speakers in a larger area.At $70, it’s a bit more expensive than what I would normally buy (i.e. without the significant Vine discount that I’m getting in exchange for writing an *honest* review) without being able to hear it in a store before buying it. I’ll spend a lot more than that for speakers and other stereo components for my home *wired* system, but I tend to cheap out on the portable stuff. It has a USB-C port for charging its battery and it can play while charging.COMPLAINTS / ISSUES:There is only a USB-C charging port on the unit, so there is no way to hook it up to your computer if all you have is a 3.5mm line level plug. That’s too bad since I think it would be a pretty good desktop speaker, especially since it appears that you can still play music when it is plugged into the USB-C power cable.IMPRESSIONS:One speaker faces the rear, so placing the unit suspended across a bucket or bowl seems to improve the sound quality. I did notice a bit of rattling sound on some of the bass, but as far as I can tell, it was probably being caused by what I had the speaker sitting on since it did seem to go away when I picked it up. You probably should not be boosting the bass too much with your equalizer.I’m ex-military and have spent a lot of time in high noise environments without proper ear protection, so the frequency response of my ears is probably not the same as someone who has not been subjected to this. As such, take my views of the sound quality with this in mind. What sound acceptable to me might not be acceptable to you, but one of these days, you’re going to be an old fart also…CONCLUSION:All in all, I think it is probably worth at least a 3.5-star (i.e. “slightly above average”) rating. Maybe a bit more…STAR RATING SCALE:1 — Poor product; Waste of money at ANY price; Blatant lies in the original listing.2 — Below average product; Something about it is a bit lacking; It could be conflicted specifications or errors in the original listing or that it was arrived with damage that was unlikely to have occurred during shipping and should have been caught in either the manufacturer’s or seller’s quality control.3 — Average product; Meets expectations, perfectly serviceable, but does not do anything that sets it apart from similar products; Does not have some features that makes me say, “Wow, that’s a neat feature”.4 — Above average product; Something about it sets it a bit above similar products on the market.5 — Excellent product (or perhaps customer service); There is NO room for improvement whatsoever; NOTHING is perfect, so this rating *should* be EXTREMELY difficult to achieve.Ordered:2024-02-27Received:2024-03-01Reviewed:2024-03-05AmazonID:B0CRDVSFJ7

I changed my mind.
I thought I first the speakers didnât sound all that good and I have had better. Until several people at a camp site complemented the speaker. It grows on you and does sound good outside. It also has a great range. I walked to my tent a distance away and the speaker by the camp fire was still playing the playlist. ð

The quality is good,
The quality is good, the sound is excellent, the bass is present. But it’s a pity that it’s mono. I advise you to buy this product (you will not regret it).

Pretty good !
Size, battery life, sound quality and ease of use are all pretty good with this little speaker ! As others have mentioned, it has a small subwoofer built in, and provides a nice amount of bass. The range of the bluetooth is exceptional, and the battery life has been stellar! I didnt charge it for almost two weeks, and it still played for two hours…and still has some battery left! This is a great value for the money.

Sound is pretty rich but this speaker is definitely **** Not Waterproof ****
For a small Bluetooth speaker this SOWO brand 30W, IP67 Waterproof Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker with Partyboom Technology for Outdoor, Camping and Travel Use sounds pretty good. I don’t think I’d say it has genuinely “Powerful Bass”, but, considering its small size, it does put out an admirable amount of mid-range bass and the sound isn’t tinny at all. Really deep bass, however, only comes from big speakers that can push a lot of air (although it can be electronically pseudo-coerced and finagled out of smaller speakers so they’re able to produce bass that sounds deeper than they can actually produce), so it’s not reasonable to expect a speaker this size to produce really low, deep bass. But, like I said, this little beastie can put out some very impressive sound for what it is – small and highly portable.I’m not sure how you can get stereo sound out of a single speaker either, since stereo sound is the result of sound differences between two speakers that results in a significant widening of the sound field. At least that’s what they taught me in school, but perhaps the laws of Physics with respect to sound have changed since then? I don’t know what it would sound like if two of these SOWO Bluetooth speakers were connected simultaneously to the same device on different Bluetooth channels. True stereo sound? Unfortunately, I’ve only got one at the current moment, but I wouldn’t mind having two & finding out. If I do I’ll let ya know.Physically this device is pretty solid, and heavier than one might expect. It has a strong, semi-hard plastic case and a metal mesh speaker grill so it looks like it could take a few tumbles, but I’ve avoided testing mine in this fashion, just in case. The power, volume, and other controls are covered over with soft plastic, so they’re fairly water resistant, but the USB-C port in the middle of one end doesn’t have a rubber protective cover so this rig is far from waterproof. Make sure it’s not dropped into the lemonade on the picnic table or the party’s over for this little camper! The more I listen to this portable speaker – I’ve got it connected to my cell – the more I like it. It really grows on you. In some ways open sound has a few nice advantages over private earbud-sound, depending on the setting of course. This wireless speaker is perfect for listening around a table during an office conference or playing any type of audio to a small group. At $69.99 (the price at the time this review was written) this isn’t a cheap Bluetooth speaker, but the sound it produces isn’t cheap either. I think this one gives enough “bang for the buck” to make it worth this price, but there are so many small portable wireless speakers on the market you might be able to find one as good for less money. Happy hunting if you go that route. This one is highly recommended. 5 stars
