In “Some Will. Some Won’t. So What. Who’s Next?”, sales expert Walker McKay reveals a straightforward, no-nonsense approach to selling in today’s economy.

With over four decades of sales experience and 20 years of training, coaching and consulting sales teams, McKay has created and refined a simple, actionable sales process that takes the BS out of selling. He introduces readers to the same practical techniques and strategies he’s taught hundreds of clients who go on to close high-margin deals and have their best years ever — without resorting to pressure or manipulative tactics.

In his trademark No BS style, McKay shares lessons learned from his journey as a lifelong salesperson and the founder of McKay Consulting Group LLC and the No BS Sales School. Through real-life stories, actionable steps, and his unique No BS sales philosophy, he shows readers how to stop wasting time on dead-end leads, start cultivating lasting, healthy business relationships, and consistently increase revenue without ever feeling or appearing “salesy.”

Perfect for seasoned sales professionals and those who want to understand the psychology of selling, “Some Will. Some Won’t. So What. Who’s Next?” is a guide to mastering a mindset and system that embrace intentional transformation in every aspect of the sales process.

“Walker McKay machetes through the tangle of tired sales myths, clearing a path toward the truth about what really boosts the bottom line and why. Some Will. Some Won’t. SoWhat. Who’s Next? is an entertaining read that delivers tangible results.”

-CARLY EVANS, Brand Strategist

“This book is brilliant. Walker gives a giant middle finger to 97% of the crappy, sleazysales advice you’ve been sold your whole life. Sales is not about convincing someone to buy something they don’t want or need. It’s about you, the salesperson, quicklyidentifying clients you feel honored to serve and whose problems you are uniquely positioned to solve. This book, like its author, is empathetic, honest and surprisinglydelightful.”

-KASEY JONES, Strategist, Creator and Coach, A Better Jones and Solo Millionaire

“Some Will. Some Won’t. So What. Who’s Next? is NOT the right book for everyone. But if you have an offbeat sense of humor, don’t mind a few F-bombs and want to grow yourbusiness using a proven process, then this is the book for you.”

-BRUCE WILLIAMS, retired Vice President, BB&T Insurance

“Walker has an uncanny ability to shift your approach from self-centered sales hero to client-focused guide. Clients trust the latter. Walker’s approach will slap you across the face with a truth you never realized.”

-PEYTON BRYANT, Managing Partner, Trinity Partners

    Simple not Easy
Walker has written a great book filled with simple things that any salesperson can do to become more professional and more consistent. The concepts he lays out are elegantly simple, however executing these concepts is not easy it has taken me 20 plus years to really do the things he talks about and now I am more consistent, more effective and wealthier. Great book I wish walker had written it 20 years ago.

Game-Changer for Sales Professionals and Beyond!
Walker McKay’s “Some Will. Some Won’t. So What. Who’s Next.” is more than a book—it’s a mindset reset. If you’ve ever struggled with rejection, hesitated to ask for the sale, or let a “no” get under your skin, this book will flip the script on how you approach not just business but life itself.McKay’s straightforward, no-nonsense style feels like having a brutally honest mentor in your corner. He cuts through the fluff and delivers actionable advice that doesn’t just sound good—it works. His stories of perseverance and grit are relatable, funny, and uncomfortably real at times (in the best way). The book’s mantra, “So what. Who’s next,” isn’t just about closing sales—it’s about resilience, focus, and understanding that you control your time, energy, and attitude.I walked away with a renewed sense of purpose and a toolkit of strategies to face rejection head-on. Whether you’re a seasoned sales pro or just someone who wants to build thicker skin and sharper focus, this book is for you.Walker McKay doesn’t sell you fluff—he sells you freedom from fear. And that’s priceless.Highly recommend!

Practical and Inspiring Guide to Perseverance in Sales and Beyond
“Some Will. Some Won’t. So What. Who’s Next.” by Walker McKay is a compelling guide that delves into the mindset essential for navigating rejection and sustaining momentum toward success. Drawing from his extensive experience as a B2B sales coach and trainer, McKay offers readers practical strategies to handle setbacks and maintain focus on their objectives. The book’s title encapsulates a philosophy widely embraced in sales and personal development: acknowledging that not everyone will respond positively to your efforts, but understanding that persistence is key. This approach encourages viewing each “no” as a step closer to a “yes,” fostering a proactive and resilient attitude toward challenges.McKay enriches the narrative with real-life anecdotes, such as the story of a client who initially committed to a sales assessment but then became unresponsive. Instead of reacting with frustration, McKay reached out with empathy, discovering that the client had faced a family emergency. This experience underscores the importance of maintaining composure and understanding in the face of unexpected obstacles.Incorporating insights from other motivational figures, the book aligns with principles like those shared by Jack Canfield, who advises: “Some people are going to say yes, and some are going to say no. So what! Out there somewhere, someone is waiting for you and your ideas. It is simply a numbers game. You have to keep asking until you get a yes.”“Some Will. Some Won’t. So What. Who’s Next.” serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking to build resilience and maintain momentum in the face of setbacks. It’s particularly beneficial for those in sales, entrepreneurship, or any field where persistence is crucial. By applying the principles outlined in this book, readers can develop a healthier perspective on rejection and enhance their perseverance, ultimately leading to greater personal and professional achievements.

Great read! Insightful, funny, and very helpful
I am a contractor and found the book to be very very insightful. I have already used part of the protocol that was listed to help me in my business. It takes off a lot of pressure when you are working with people to remember that I am not for everyone. Great work Walker. The book is a real gem

Wish I had this book much earlier in my career
“Some will. Some won’t. So what. Who’s next” is an easy and engaging read. The book has great tactical sales advice, but it is about more than just sales because sales is much more than just following a system in my opinion. I found the mindset makeover very helpful. The comment on the cover is absolutely right: you will learn truths which would otherwise takes a career to learn. This book will be a Christmas present for my new college grad.
