The 3000K Warm Light built into it makes this double a good quality nice light.
no issues here, this camera works great, has a very rich 4k color, and most of all I like light. The 3000K Warm Light built into it makes this double a good quality nice light. It is on the low setting all night and provides a nice high quality porch light feel.Other cameras I have contain 5000k LEDs and it’s just not a friendly light to look at.

Better than the 16mp piece of âIâm Gona returnâ
Night vision true color, clear. NV light is so mild, it resembles a soft English street lamp at half power. I dropped this puppy 10â and cracked the glass. Plugged in poe, no defect shown on the display. 5* for this one. Duo3, reviews are correct; trash. Split seam, pixel max is terrible, the 8mp crushed with quality. If itâs near a structure, bad IR feedback. Blinds that camera.

Works well but needs more light then the CX410.
Works well, but unlike the CX410 does not work as well in darkness as the CX410. Unfortunatly the CX410 has audio issues making audio almost unusable so I was looking forward to the CX810. The CX810 audio does work but the video sensitivity to light is about 1/3 less than the CX410. That is disappointing since it requires more light for a good picture. Be aware that still images still look good but moving objects look like a blur without adaquate light.

Outstanding
I have a 60 camera security system. It’s 3 different brands and many different 4k cameras. Reolink is my favorite brand and this is the best night camera. Great color. It’s got an easy mounting system. I just bought 1 to try it out and I am very impressed. I have 43 inch 4k monitors (TV’s) and it’s like a window looking outside. Turn up the brightness a notch and it’s like daylight. Note: This is used in a well lit commercial setting. I can see 1 block away as if it were daylight. The other Reolink 4k cameras are also great but this is a little better. Sharper and nice.

Great image and low light performance
This camera is exactly what it says it is, well built, good image quality, good low light performance and well rounded access capabilities. It works in Blue Iris extremely well.

Does not support H.265 and requires Reolink phone app to setup
Annoyingly the HTTP interface is disabled by default so you have to download the Reolink app to your phone and log into the camera that way to enable the HTTP interface. The good news is after that you can get rid of the app and just log in over your local network with a web browser to access the HTTP interface, but such a hassle. The show-stopper was that when once I set up the camera with Blue Iris, I noticed that its bitrate was about 5x that of my other cameras… And the reported encoding format is H.264. There is no option to change it to H.265! I reached out to support, and they confirmed that it only records to its SD card in H.265, but streaming is H.264. I don’t understand why that would be. But for this reason I had to return it.The few minutes I played with the camera, the image quality seemed good for the price point. The build quality is also good. If it weren’t for the H.264 encoding I definitely would have kept it. Instead I had to package it up to return, and lost 2 hours of my life dealing with a product that has an inaccurate web description.

Looks great!
Night vision with ambient light and soft white LEDs is awesome.

Great support, great camera
Initially I wasn’t impressed as I couldn’t view HD (Clear) saved videos in playback mode without downloading them 1st. When I contacted support they tried numerous possibilities then got their development group involved that ultimately corrected the bug with a new app release. Now all works great. Great color night vision, clear images and videos, lots of customization setting, great AI motion sensing with no false alarms.

I received this product through the Amazon Vine program. The Reolink CX810 ColorX PoE is a 4K fixed focal length stationary camera. It is easy to install, but you will need a PoE device to power it or you can connect it to a Reolink NVR system. I prefer a direct connection rather than WiFi when I need a solid, uninterrupted signal. This camera was also added to my new Reolink Home Hub system so now I can have remote storage and don’t have to use a sd card in the camera. The Home Hub handles the large amount of data from this camera with no issues at all. I prefer the “CX” series from Reolink because they have very good low light performance in full colour. Basically, these cameras record the same at night as if it is daytime. That’s how good the sensor performs.I currently own a CX410 and find that, for my purposes, the CX810 is a nice upgrade. I do a lot of timelapse videos and the extra detail at 4K is very noticeable. The cameras are almost identical and the CX810 is only slightly higher in cost. The only thing I have found is that capturing movement at night is slightly better on the CX410. That’s the only trade-off you make for much more higher definition on the CX810. The build quality is typical Reolink, good quality materials, good optics, good connectors and cables, etc. The Reolink app is excellent as is their PC app. I have had dealings with their product support on other models and it has been excellent as well. I plan on doing quite a few sunsets and overnight timelapses with this camera.Overall, I really like this product. It performs very well and the quality makes it worthy of 5 stars.

Solid Build Quality: The Reolink CX810 ColorX PoE Camera feels very sturdy and well-made. The finishing is top-notch, giving it a professional and durable appearance.Excellent Night Vision: One of the standout features is the true color night vision. It provides clear, colored images even in low-light conditions, which adds an extra layer of security.Setup Challenges: Unfortunately, I wasnât able to set it up as a standalone camera, which was my original intent. I wanted to use it without a DVR, expecting it to work directly with the app using the microSD slot, but couldnât get it to work after a few tries.Tested with Reolink DVR: I managed to test it with a friend’s Reolink DVR, and it performed flawlessly. However, Iâll need to wait until I can set it up individually or reach out to support for assistance.Advanced Features: The cameraâs person/animal detection, spotlight, and siren alarm add great security features.Overall, itâs a high-quality camera with great functionality, but setup might be tricky if you’re looking to use it without a DVR.

Iâm really happy with the quality of this cameraâs images, as well as the ease of setup. The app worked fairly well, and by finding its IP address in my router, I was able to view it on the computer as well. I was worried I needed the NVR solution to view from my PC but that was not the case (at least on the same network – I canât speak to remote viewing which the app can do). I put a 64 GB card in, so I can watch historic images as well via the computer or phone app. I will note that I canât download or watch in full clarity on my computer (edge or firefox), however the phone app, or putting the card directly into my computer allows me to.I have it running off an older switch that supports POE and it works flawlessly. It pulls 3.2W when running and 15W on startup. I had a 24V x0.5A POE injector lying around and I tried that, and it wouldnât run (perhaps not enough wattage, perhaps being a cheap injector, but it didnât damage it either). The camera also has a 12Vx1A power connection, however doesnât come with the power adapter that would be needed. It also didnât come with a microSD card either.I did like the pre-recording feature, where you can set it to pre-record x number of seconds before. This is also customizable if itâs a person, or a vehicle or an animal. It has an included siren, but it isnât super loud. Also it goes without saying, but this camera does not have an auto pan/tilt, you have to manually aim it.At the full resolution of 3840×2160 @ 25 frames per second, itâs using 8426 kbps, meaning a 1 minute clip uses about 63 MB of space. Nice easy math says you can get 1000 minutes (16.5 hours) on a 64 GB card. You can turn it down (and it also saved for me automatically), 640×360 files @ 10 frames/second, using 209 kbps -> 1.6 MB/ minute.

This manufacturer is known to be fantastic and again proven with this camera. This camera has all the features that we expect in this price range the app though is what extends its usefulness and capability. My only concern and the reason it’s not permanently installed yet is that to see in a dark night it must have it spotlight turned on what is also known as full color night vision.Without the spotlight on the camera can go deep into dusk and start recording images way early at dawn but during the black of night it can’t see and as a result it cannot detect unless the glow light is on.The glow light as I call it is the spotlight set to a very dim level and then once an object is detected it will brighten up to a level that can be preset in order to properly identify the object with its AI which is also very smart. So the best application for this is possibly on a porch or in a lighted Street environment where the street light is sufficient for helping the super sensitive sensor to pick up in fine detail whenever we’re trying to see your track or observe.

I already had a Reolink camera, and was happy to get this for watching my backyard. I love that Reolink doesn’t require a subscription, and that they readily allow RTSP so that enthusiasts can use the cameras with their own NVR. I already have a PoE switch, so all I had to do was run ethernet cable to the back of my house and it just worked. The included mounting hardware was sufficient to get it in place. The image quality is fantastic, both during the day and night. The audio quality is good too. Overall, it’s a great addition to one’s home security, and the option to use their great software or your own, like Blue Iris, makes this a great option.
