BUYER BEWARE: POLYCOM WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY COMMITMENT DIRECTLY IF BOUGHT THROUGH AMAZON. RESELLER AS YOU BY THE ANKLES
Product Quality 10/10Product Support 0/10 if bought on Amazon.5 Stars because the product is good. The support is nonexistent.Let me start by saying, I love Polycom products, especially as an MSP. Their products are simple and the quality is top notch. I believe Polycom phones in particular are a great tradeoff between quality and affordability. With that being said, Polycom has a very stringent warranty policy. If you’re buying in bulk, I highly advise not buying Polycom phones on Amazon. As Polycom will not directly honor the warranty commitments. The Amazon Reseller is the only one with the authority (if they are authorized to resell polycom products to begin with) to initiate RMA procedures with Polycom Global. Here’s proof:Hello Edward,Thank you for contacting Polycom Global ServicesAccording to our records, your system is under warranty only.Warranty support for your Polycom VVX 411 is provided by your supplier. Please contact them and provide as much detail as you can about the problem your system is experiencing. You should make sure you quote your system serial number when contacting your supplier for assistance. In the event of any equipment fault being confirmed, your supplier will be able to make arrangements for a replacement unit to be provided.Feel free to also browse the resources available to you (including our knowledge base, software and product documentation, and other useful information) on:Our Support Portal redacted as per amazon policyOur Support Forum: redacted as per amazon policyBest regards,ErikPolycom Global ServicesWith that being said, I’ve bought a lot of Polycom phones here on Amazon and I’m very nervous if something were to go wrong with them. I’ve already replaced a customer’s bad phone out of my own pocket. –My ignorance for not reading Polycom’s warranty EULA.I hope this review saves fellow Polycom users in the future.

    Value for Money!
The one I got looks 100% like a brand-new phone. I don’t think anyone can tell it apart from a brand-new one with bare eyes. The vendor put in nice touches like a protective plastic sheet on the LCD display, the phone cord and the LAN cable are still in a plastic bags. I provisioned it with a VOIP provider and so far the phone functions well. For the price of this refurb, I give the vendor 5 stars based on my initial tests. The color LCD on this VVX 411 is not a touch screen. I chose it intentionally as I want to use the hard keys to navigate the menu (believing that they will last longer than a touch screen.)I purchased the power supply separately, and hence have not tested the POE feature. I believe that’d work too. Overall, highly recommended if you’re looking for a refurb desk phone for VOIP.

    As advertised
Works like it should. No problems so far. But how are you going to sell a product but not include the power adapter. Having to purchase the adapter separately is just a hassle. Other than that it works fine.

All 4 phones we purchased worked for the first month and then the sound quality became very poor
First month, everything was fine. After that all 4 phones sound quality (on the customer side) was extremely poor. We checked our internet speed, our phone provider and everything is Ok with them. These devices are faulty.

I like the sound quality of the Polycom VVX 411
I ordered these phone at the advice of a VOIP system vendor. My old CIsco 504G phones were worn out after many years of use and the sound quality had deteriorated especially on speaker mode.I like the sound quality of the Polycom VVX 411, however I find transfering calls takes too many steps and the buttons are very small for my large fingers. I have not found good instructions for operating the phones and their features.Joseph GruttaJAG Financial Services

Easy to Set Up and Use
We received our phones as expected with everything except an actual user guide (did include Quick-Start-Set-Up/Instructions). We used a LAN and PC connection ports and didn’t need to order a Power Adapter as the LAN and PC port setup provides power on its own. Our IT support team did the final step in setting up the phones. All-in-All easy to put together and understand. I’d give 5 stars overall if a Polycom user guidebook was at least in one of the boxes of phones we received.

Have 30 of these in use
Our office uses these phones for many years and have more than 30 of these. These are heavy duty, rugged phones and last a while. I have yet to have a single issue (other than curly cords that need to be replaced once in a while).

Haven’t tried it out yet— I am gonna upgrade my older model of Polycom phone because it does not have some of the newer features etc etc. The phone that I received looks beautiful except that it doesn’t come with the power supply although they did mention you might want to buy that but I figured the power supply in the other phone in this photograph – a Polycommm—must fit as it’s just a standard type of barrel plug– but no of course it is possibly proprietary to this model a different shape just to get you to buy a stupid power supply which is quite a pain. i work in high tech and have gathered a collection of old 12 Volt adapters over the years and none of them would fit either so I have to wait another three or four days to try out this phone as I’ve purchased the SUGGESTED plug. So once again by the stupid adapter that comes with it and less you have a much more modern Polycom phone———-
