My First Video Editing Software – Great Decision!!!
I needed to start editing some videos, but I really didn’t know where to start with software. And I am so glad I went with this software!This was super easy to learn as a beginner, it includes a lot of useful tools that are easy to learn right off the bat. You get several other programs with the purchase, so it’s a fantastic value for the price.I saw several complaints about crashes, but I have edited several dozen videos at this point and only had one crash so far.I highly recommend this software if you’re looking to get into video editing!

Could not download software
This is a criticism of my purchase experience regarding this software , not a criticism of the software itself. I received an empty box with a pc key number card. This was first time I bought software without a cd disk. I prefer the old fashion way. Pop a cd in and install the software to your computer. The card with the activation key numbers only provided a Pinnacle website link, but no instructions on the downloading process to follow. When I went to Pinnacle website there was only the option to buy the software but no option to download it after purchasing it from Amazon. I then contacted Amazon customer service three times via chat to get instructions on how to download the software. They were unable to provide step by step instructions . I was given an Amazon links but it did not resolve the issue.I then went online to find out what the process was . I found instructions on the Amazon website which stated to go to my orders , find the software purchased and there should be a download option next to the order . Tried this but could not find any download option next to the order . I even looked in the digital downloads section and software library but still could not find this purchase. I literally spent almost two hours trying to download the software but no avail. I will again state that I prefer the original way to install software , receiving a cd installation disk. It is easier, less time consuming and less frustrating.The Bottom line is I had to return the box it to Amazon and I will buy the software directly on the Pinnacle website.

Pretty easy to use.
I’ve used pinnacle studio 8 in the past then later switched to roxio which was a big mistake and I was dumb enough to purchase an update version. After you use roxio for a while you’ll start noticing it quits working without warning. I emailed the company and their reply was simply tough luck we don’t support that version anymore so you will have to purchase a newer version which really sucked. It ended up doing the same thing again, just quit working. I know this review is about pinnacle studio 26 which I really like, just have to reacquaint myself with it. I’m hoping they don’t do the same thing as roxio of which I’ll never buy their product again.

Regret this purchase
I truly regret this purchase. It is supposed to be an easy software to use. It is your recover and not user-friendly. Even with the tutorial. It does not recognize all codecs Either.

will not down load
Ok, I bought this in November of 2022. I have contacted customer assistance and have had no real help. This program hangs up while I’m attempting to down load and will not install. My system is compatible and should have no problem. I have tried everything I can find. It took several days for them to get back to me, and when I didn’t respond within a few hours they closed the conversation. Still end of the day, they got my money and I have nothing. ??? Just looking for good customer assistance.
