Recommendation for Registering a Face
When registering a face, maintain a distance of 40cm to 80cm between the device and the face.Be careful not to change your facial expression. (smiling face, drawn face, wink, etc.)Be careful not to cover the eyes or eyebrows.Do not wear hats, masks, sunglasses, or eyeglasses.Be careful not to display two faces on the screen. Register one person at a time.
Improve The Quality of Fingerprint Reads
Always use clean fingers, avoid angled or tilted finger positions for enrollment.Put your finger belly completely in the middle of the reader.Do not slide the finger while enrolling it. Put some pressure for 1 second and it will show you the result. A dry fingerprint would be hard to be recognized, pls panting breathe on your fingerprint to moist it. Then it will be easier to verify.Note: Please tear off the protective film before use

Works well enough
I really do like this concept for time clocks compared to the (really) old paper punch card systems. I do have a few gripes – this unit isn’t really scalable as it is a stand-alone unit. You can only download data in spreadsheets using a thumb drive. The face reader glitches occasionally causing not to recognize an employee. But, despite all of that it is still an improvement over manual time cards.

Does the job but lacking ease of use
Bought this for my dental office and not completely happy with it. We used a PC based time clock with a fingerprint scanner for years, but decided to âup-grade.â The device is harder to use and input data into its system. Data input is through a 11 button keypad and thatâs a real joy. Itâs supposed to support facial recognition, fingerprint biometrics and magnetic card clock-in, but Iâve only been able to get fingerprint clock-in setup. Any time you get in front of the device it says, âface not recognizedâ and itâll do it over and overâvery annoying. Instructions are typical Chinese translated garbage and payroll reports can only be retrieved by emailing an Exel file or using a thumb drive to export an Exel file. You have to manipulate the Exel file to get a time report for each employee and there is no native formatting for such like I had before. It works and keeps accurate records, but Iâve found correcting clock-in/clock-out errors has been difficult, unpredictable and time consuming. The app seems to accept the change, but the device itself doesnât updateâat least not predictably. Weâre using it, but wouldnât recommend it to anyone. Not sure how long Iâll put up with all its quirksâ¦

Great for a small office
Great alternative to a paper timeclock! Works well and has all the options you could want when it comes to punch options. If you need more than one clock, with the same employees covering different locations, then I think there are better options. But you have the same issues with paper, so… Your mileage may vary.
