    BUY THIS BOOK!
I’ve read all kinds of marketing books. Marketing for Super Villains is right up there with the best of them. The “chapters” are nice and short, but filled with practical information (perfect for someone like me with ADHD). Wroblewski cuts through the BS and distills each point down to useful implementable knowledge.MSV felt like a cooler sans-fluff dose of Blue Ocean Strategy punched up with attitude and 90’s/early 2000’s pop culture references. Where BOS gives you the “create a new ocean” concept, MSV gives you the “how-to” resources to create it and dive in. I actually just got done reading MSV and immediately jumped on my computer to start making revisions to my website. The fact that I finished this book AND took action from it is a HUGE testament to how good this book is.Do not hesitate buying this book. It seriously delivers.

If your in marking or run a business I dare you to read this book!
I recently had the pleasure of reading Marketing For SuperVillains, and I can confidently say that it has completely transformed my perspective on marketing. In a world where commoditization seems inevitable, this book offers a refreshing and insightful take on de-commoditized marketing that helps you find your superpower.Jesse’s deep understanding of the challenges businesses face in today’s competitive landscape is evident throughout the book with references to clients that just don’t get it. What sets this book apart is its ability to demystify complex marketing concepts and provide actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately. The examples of MSVs along with pop culture references made the book fun to read (business books usually aren’t).

A must read for all business owners & marketers.
This book is diabolically engineered to improve your business by helping you stand out in a sea of competitors. An enjoyable and impactful read that will benefit my business for years to come.

What a great and easy read for Marketers and those interested in Marketing.
I’ve been in marketing for over 30 years, and I really enjoyed Jesse’s thought provoking writing and content. Many times I found myself stopping to pause and think about what he’s suggesting taking copious notes along the way. If you’re stuck in a marketing or creative rut – this is breezy and valuable read for a great price.

    “New, Fresh, and Truly Different”
“New, Fresh, and Truly Different”. This phrase is a direct quote from the book which resides on my desk. I have been in business for over 50 years and I wish Jesse had written this book back then. Unfortunately for me his parents hadn’t even thought about manufacturing him yet. This makes an otherwise dull marketing book a motivating experience; regardless of your business, it will drive you to do things a little different than ordinary while you laugh your way through all 167 pages of it (I have read it three times) thinking of what idiot created all these TV commercials that send you to bed. No matter in what generation you belong or how you expect to make your money, I suggest you read this book.

Might have good content, but editing lets it down
I only got 25% into this book and hadn’t hit any of the meaty advice yet. Not sure when it starts, but there was a lot of fluff to start. But the deal-breaker for me was the editing, which was really bad. Actual sentence: “The group leader, played Scott Thomson’s character says this (not Bill Paxton’s) by the great Bill Paxton, exclaimst that an F-5 was as powerful as ‘The Finger of God’, which could destroy anything it touched.” If you understand that, you’re a better person than I am. Another actual sentence, “‘Weird Al’ Yankovic’s since it’s first mention masterful send-up, finish their dinners. juxtaposed the original video’s serious tone…” It was all too much, and showed a real lack of care and pride in the work, so I gave up and returned it.

I read a lot of business books, rarely do I leave reviews. Funny, quick, and almost zero fat.

Never thought branding could be co-related with supervillain. Amazing case studies, relatable anecdotes, and overall a great and unique way to look at marketing.
