Excellent Set!
We were gifted the $40ish Little House on the Prairie set. It ended up being poorly boxed and packaged including a defective disc.Thankfully we were able to get a refund and went with the other set which was a bit more, but was definitely worth it! This one is adorable and much better designed (each disc has its own slot vs. just placing multiple discs in a sleeve with the other set).

a little over-priced but a very nice box-set
first the price – while this price was the cheapest i could find anywhere, i still think it’s a little high. that being said, it’s still a beautiful box-set and the remastering of the episodes is amazing! (i will say that i’m using sonys best 4k bluray player that does a great job of unscaling and watching the episodes on sonys newest flagship tv – the A90J) still, the dvd remasters are extremely well done and it’s like watching the show for the first time – the episodes have a clarity and richness that i’ve never seen before. i also like how each season is packed in the “little house” box. the dvds themselves, while they don’t snap into each season pack are still secure and snug so they don’t “rattle around” while in storage. another HUGE feature (for me) is that each season has the episodes listed on the case. inside, each dvd has the episodes on it listed on each dvd – VERY NICE. so, overall, (while a little over-priced) this is a fantastic box set.

Legacy Movies complete the Little House saga
This review is of the Little House on the Prairie Legacy Movie Collection (Amazon has the reviews mixed with those of other Little House videos).The Legacy Movies are 3 movies made for TV in 1983 and 1984 just after the TV series ended. If you have otherwise seen the 9 seasons of the series then you should watch these too. They are not the greatest of stories, but they complete the Little House saga.In “Look Back to Yesterday” Albert and Charles visit a college where Albert hopes to study medicine and then visit Walnut Grove where Albert decides to remain after a medical diagnosis.”Bless All the Dear Children” is a Christmas movie where the main plot consists of Laura and Almanzo searching for their daughter who was abducted. Everything works out OK in the end including an orphan they encounter getting a home for Christmas.In the “Last Farewell” we say goodbye to the town of Walnut Grove, as do its citizens, forever.The DVD collection comes with a code for the digital version. It is an old Ultraviolet code. Ultraviolet doesn’t exist anymore. Since this is a Lionsgate production, the code does not work on Movies Anywhere (Lionsgate still has not joined). If you follow the redemption instructions, it will give you the choice of either Vudu or FandangoNow. I went with Vudu and the code worked fine. You are limited to the site you choose since Ultraviolet no longer exists. In theory if Lionsgate ever joins Movies Anywhere then it should become accessible through it since Vudu works with both but I wouldn’t count on it.

very disappointed in this product. You can’t watch it with a DVD streamer and not in the Netherlands. Definitely not recommended!
