The first volume in this two-part series provides a step-by-step guide to the fundamental aspects of the graphic representation of a wide range of jewellery pieces, from the simplest to the most complex forms. Different volumes, spaces, surfaces and finishes are explained in detail, as are methods for depicting different materials, from timeless metals and precious stones to substances such as celluloid and bakelite.

el libro es muy bueno para orientarte sobre como ilustrar joyerÃa viene explicado por pasos y acabados de metales y gemas en cuestión de la creación técnica del dibujo lo explica pero esta más enfocado en la explicación de la ilustración, si buscas ejecución del dibujo técnico lo recomiendo pero me agrada más en ese sentido el libro dibujo para joyeros ya que es metódico y conceptual queda mas claro el proceso del dibujo técnicono le puse 5 estrellas por que llego maltratado te lo mandan en un sobre y para lo que cuesta el libro esperarÃa que no me llegue mallugado de las esquinas sobretodo por que la pasta que es blanda.

As a beginner/intermediate artist this book is exactly what I was looking for! Just perfect for designing and drawing interesting pieces of jewellery, gemstones and such. Very inspirational and a pleasure to read. The book explained the techniques used for some of the pieces. It would have been even better if the book was more a step by step book instead of an illustrated book. All in all, happy with my purchase.
