Smart Investment I recommend!
I put this on my hvac system box. Very easy to hook up yourself! Only 2 wires, just unscrew the terminals and attach the wires exactly like the instructions.The build quality is sturdy and tough. It looks pretty well built and my hvac guys that come out even recommend them as well.The price is worth it, I think, if it saves me thousand compared to what I paid for it then it is worth it. Sure, home insurance may protect the investment, but everyone knows how insurance companies can be. Think of this as a back up to the insurance if you get screwed.It fit very easy! I bought more of these so I can be ready when the device goes out.

Very easy to install
Very easy to install in line with my Disconnect switch for my AC compressor. I haven’t had any power surges to see how the unit actual works when needed. The unit mounts easily to the side of the disconnect and has a nice green light to tell you it is running. Would recommend to save your compressor from any power surges. We had a compressor go out because of a surge and installed this when we replaced our compressor with a new one.

Surge protector
AG 3000 surge protector arrived quickly and appears of good quality I purchased this particular surge protector because of many good reviews some of which were on a split system similar to mine. Relatively easy to install if you are comfortable doing electrical work. Unit best protects for voltage surges vs under voltage. So far it appears to be working well, wont really know till I get a power surge.

It does what is required. At night it glows green to let you know its functioning. I like that it has a clear housing. If there is a failure, u can see the circuitry inside. It’s cool looking.
