Great info for any digital marketer
I’ve been doing online marketing for about 5 years and read a lot of books, taken lots of course and gotten received a lot of coaching, so I have a good understanding of how to sell services online. Although I don’t sell marketing funnels specifically I liked what people said about this book so I gave it a read.It’s packed with really great info and is well written. I found myself highlighting bits here and there and bookmarking a bunch of pages so I can refer to them later. Goes over everything from find your niche (loved how he says “an industry is not a niche”), crafting your offer and positioning yourself so you’re able to charge more money for what you do.You won’t find any “get rich quick” schemes in here – just a battle tested, real world blueprint on how to sell your digital services.So glad I picked this one up.

I decided to read this book after feeling frustrated with some recent experiences delivering customer funnels.Mind you this was not for lack of resultsâwe had gotten excellent results for the customer including an average of 40-60% opt-in rate, 150 new leads organically per month, 1% conversionBut the client kept insisting they needed even better results.Thinking some other funnel builders might know something about educating clients and managing client expectations better, I picked up this book. And I am so glad I did.I read the book cover to cover in 10 days. And have several ideas on how to find the right customers for me and manage them even better.Here are my major takeaways from the book:â¨â¨1. I was niching too bigâthe industry is not a niche re Killen. But how then to niche down? Killen shares what characteristics matter when niching and which really donât.â¨â¨2. Donât talk about what you do, talk about who you help. If your network remembers who, you are more likely to get referrals. Interestingly getting clearer on who has also given me ideas for who can refer and where to marketâdouble win!â¨â¨3. Selling a $25k funnel does not mean you have to sell the entire funnelâmind blown! I was selling the entire funnel, which means I was running around trying to wrangle all kinds of cats in my clientâs business (exactly as fun as it sounds). Using Killenâs process I broke it down and I realized I had delivered on 3 distinct major parts of the funnel, oh, and remember that client complained about needing more? Well, that is easily handled by selling another 4th milestone or project. â¨â¨Canât wait to implement these new takeaways and see my results!â¨Thanks Mike Killen!

The 6A framework gives you all the pieces you need, organized in a way that makes sense. I’ve read books and taken courses from the likes of Ryan Deiss of Digitalmarketer, Frank Kern, Mike Shreeve, Donald Miller of Storybrand, and Todd Brown. Best read about how to select your “niche”
I haven’t read any book that have so much detail on what a “niche” is and from somene who’s an expert at what I do, it’s so hard to charge high. But after writing down who is really my ideal client using the learnings I’ve got from that chapter, I’ve closed multiple 5 figure deals and have 6 figure worth of deals in my pipeline. I can’t thank enough Michael for writing this!
