Perfect!
This is an absolutely well constructed and amazing mount. I really like the construction and the high quality feel of this piece. I use it in an 18-wheeler that rides worse than a tobacco wagon and my tablet stays put on my dash exactly where I put it. Can’t go wrong with this piece of gear!

This is a great tablet holder. I purchased this for my Samsung Galaxy tab s9 ultra and it holds it with no issue whatsoever. I looked and looked for an all metal holder as to hold up longer and better. I would say by far this is a solid holder.

The âFANAUE Tablet Holder for Car with Ball Head, Lightweight Designï¼360 Rotatable iPad Holder for Car/Desk/Commercial Vehicles Dashboard, Compatible (Sliver 1)â was not silver, it was a grey/black which I preferred.I bought this because the 1â/25mm ball adaptor that comes with it can be easily switched out for another size as it attaches with a 1/4â- 20 threaded post (I needed a 20mm ball for my application which I purchased separately). It appears to be quite sturdy. Iâm having a learning curve as my previous holder had spring loaded tension and this one you set to slightly larger than the device you want it to hold, and then use the knob to fine tune closure when your device is in its jaws.

I love the versatility of this mount! Use it in a Arca Swiss, 1/4 thread, or a ball mount! Use it for a phone or a tablet.

I had my frustration with low quality of adhesive foam on the 1 inch ball base, that attaches (supposed to attach I’d say, but it didn’t) made of FANAUE. Aluminum arm and tablet holder on the other hand are the best you can find. Quality of engineering and built are unsurpassed. A bit pricy, but as they say – you got what you pay for. Quality has its price. Prepare for high expense, while collecting all of the components needed, like – tablet holder + aluminum double socket arm + plastic base + some replacement of double-sided adhesive of the base, which at least for me it didn’t work. Strongly recommend…if you’re ready to pay close to CAD$200 for the entire setup…and considering you are attaching a $1500 tablet, it worth it.A follow up experience with photos…So, after some research I found here on Amazon genuine 3M VHB patches and managed to attach tablet holder to dashboard of my car. Attached one to the dashboard and another to base and waited for almost a week. Be patient to wait until the adhesive cure is completely cured. Then I attached adhesive patch to adhesive patch and the cushion between dashboard and holder’s base became twice thicker, compared if you use only one two-sided adhesive patch. This thickness absorbs some of the curve of the dashboard. Tablets are quite heavy gadgets and will not stand strong with only one anchoring point, so I locked the front end of the holder to the edge of the dashboard too and now while driving there’s no wobbling and shaking. Besides using all features of the tablet as maps and making/receiving calls, you can make videos of your road trips. All vibrations caused by your vehicle suspension will cause some trembling of the picture, but that’s inevitable. Design of the holder is very smart and you can adjust the lower bracket to level that tablete stays vertical and with the upper bracket lock and unlock it. Now, in very hot weather it holds well. How’s going to hold during winter months time will tell. Another thing. I bought 2 identical tablette holders. First was $80 and 2 weeks after it was shipped I am still waiting for it to arrive. Second one was $30 and came in 3 days. When first, the expensive one arrives, I will return it back, but you do your own research on who’s the seller and from where you are buying it. About tablet holder I will keep putting updates, so stay tuned.
