    Not only the Ins-and-Outs of SEO, but Brand Building as Well. Comprehensive and approachable.
    This book went into greater detail and had more information than I had expected. If you have some experience in the area already, great! It’s easily skimmable and well sectioned between ideas so you don’t have to choose to be bored reading things you already know. If you’re new, I think this book does a great job in teaching the related areas and more, what you should do, and WHY you should do them in an efficient way, the path through which he covers the material is good as well. Having some knowledge of the space, this filled in some gaps for me. A lot of the book is not just SEO, but brand building and maintenance, as well as understanding user behavior and patterns.There’s a good amount of graphics and tables in here dispersed through the text. Each chapter also has areas that can easily be turned into a checklist to get yourself going on those tasks instead of remaining confused on where to start. The multiple choice questions at the end of the chapter review the material well. I think this book shows the author’s experience in the field and is a great all-in-one book for online businesses to have. The book can get repetitive at times if you know the material, but again, is easily skimmable and does not use difficult language, so you can skip ahead easily. Some of the steps here may seem a bit cookie-cutter for modern online businesses, but I guess they are the basics that work, even if they seem useless. I look forward to putting what I’ve learned from this book into practice.

    This is quite a good book on SEO. Worth the read!
    This book was worth reading, it gave a lot of of do’s and don’ts on SEO. The templates were great. The writer kept emphasized across a few chapters those important things to note. This acted as a good reminder. The authors also showed some good websites. The only setback from the book was that the diagrams, pictures, snapshots of blog and websites were too tiny to read and most of them were no longer available online coz contents needed to be updated. Overall this is a good book on SEO that also featured interviews with industry veterans.

    Great coverage of SEO
    I am just starting a web project after being out of the field for a decade. I was going to read through my old books when I got a chance to review this book and I couldn’t be happier. The book is current and thorough. I read it cover to cover and feel ready to start coding and getting us some organic traffic. I found the writing good and easy to follow. I also appreciate that it goes into social media optimization as we will be using tie ins there as well. Great resource and I feel ready to go! Highly recommend!

    An SEO Must Read
    I use this book as a reference for my SEO and content processes and marketing. It offers a lot a great perspective on how to optimize your website and content on other sites. It uses the free version of a crawling tool to help you audit your own website step by step.It also defines parameters for how do use search data and other data to determine your content strategies. I haven’t seen a book as prescriptive as this one for doing that.

    A good guide to start with
    “Effective SEO and Content Marketing: The Ultimate Guide for Maximizing Free Web Traffic” by Nicholas Papagiannis is a good guide to start with regarding SEO and also a good guide to keep on hand. It covers a lot of basics that helps make sense of what SEO is and content marketing. It might seem basic for those who are more familiar with the topic but for those who want to understand why their company (like mine) keeps bringing up the terminology, then this helps break it down. It is easy to read and understand.

Among many things, it gives insight to how SEO works and provides a walk through on how to crawl your website and how to optimize your SEO of your site and other channels (YouTube, Amazon page, Apps, Podcasts). It also walks through content marketing and how to use data to create content. This book is now my go to resource for all things SEO and content marketing.
