It wasn’t easy and failed to do the job for me.
Set up was fine but I was unable to make a duplicate of a medical MRI CD. I recommend finding a program compatible with you printer/scanner.

Works great to copy CDs
Despite being the year 2022, I have a bunch of audio CDs that I wanted a copy of because our car and old cheap CD players damage/scratch them up. I like to use free software when possible but everything else I could find was too sketchy. Now I could do it for free with Windows Media Player but it requires one to rip the disc, convert it to some compressed format like MP3 and then burn it again. It takes a long time, uses your effort/attention, fills space on your PC, and for audio CDs, you lose quality. It is very user friendly and easy to use Roxio to do this and it only takes 10 min per disc. On the Roxio website, it costs about 50% more than the Amazon price. I was up and running in minutes. Thanks a lot Amazon and Roxio!

Worked for me
I bought this because due to a recent system restore on my desktop, I lost access to all my pc built in NERO freeware. Unfortunately, NERO is now a yearly subscription service so I got this instead. It worked! I have a lot of music saved on my PC and I like making mixed CDs I can play on my car. It may not be user friendly but fit my needs. I don’t plan on burning DVDs so I can’t speak for that feature yet. Also I rip my CDs with Windows Media player so I can’t speak for Roxio doing this. Roxio comes with an audio editor but it’s not user friendly at all, it was extremely difficult to get the fade in feature to work properly. Also I couldn’t label the CD itself. For these cons I couldn’t give it 5 stars.

Worked perfect
Needed to get a video of our family reunion onto DVD. I kept getting errors with the ASUS software that came with the DVD burner. Purchased this, and it worked the first time I tried it. Perfect. I also like the ability to put chapters in. Cheap cost and easy to use.

Kluge interface & limited documentation
I’ve been able to accomplish only about half of what I should be able to do with this software. While I’m no technical expert, usually I can figure out ways to get the job done.perhaps the software works but I can’t figure out how to confirm this. And I’ve tried about 12 times with some success, just not complete success. The thing is, the features I most needed are the ones that don’t work. At all. I have had to revert back to using another cheaper product to get my video recording and converting done. it’s ended up taking extra time.A suggestion for the developer of this product is to update the instructions and interface to ensure the user can get the intended use and value of their purchase.
