Corel Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 | Disc Burner & Video Capture [PC Disc]

Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 is an excellent software solution for anyone looking to create and burn CDs and DVDs with ease. As a user, I found it to be one of the most intuitive and user-friendly software I have ever used.One of the standout features of Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 is its interface, which is simple and easy to navigate. Would Not Install with supplied serial numbers!
I purchases two copies of easy CD & DVD burning 2 from Amazon and both serial numbers on the disk envelopes produce an invalid error. I tried both remedies from the Roxio FAQ in their support site, including the latest Burning 2 installation download as well as turning off all my security features and accepting all cookies, but I still get the invalid errors. Their chat system would not work. I tried calling the telephone support, but could not get through until my fourth attempt. The Rep spoke very difficult to understand English while trying to tell me to use the same remedies I had already tried. The Rep then disconnected the phone call without providing any understandable help.I have used this software before on other home use computers and own other Corel and Pinnacle software with satisfactory installations and performance. I have no idea if their new version of this inexpensive and basic Roxio software performs as well as my older versions for what I needed because it would not install. This was poor customer support and is not worth the hassle.I am sending them back to Amazon for a Prime refund. I won’t be buying any further Corel, Roxio or Pinnacle products currently owned by Corel after this experience.

NOT Backwards Compatible
First, Corel Tech Support is slow to respond – minimum 5 days – and then they ask you for technical info if you’re asking about the original software (EC&D1 we’ll call it). They don’t have a clue so you must through trial and error try to bring those older files into EC&D2. They suggested I buy EC&D2 to see if it’d work because they don’t know. Well it does, with work and yet it doesn’t.SlideShows created in EC&D1 can be updated to EC&D2 and any audio you used may or may not follow. Music Creator files however are not compatible with EC&D2. They speak a foreign language that 2 doesn’t comprehendUsing 2 is slightly easier to use than 1 in that 2 actually has a user manual (well, sort of) that answers some questions that will arise with use. So be sure to download it and maybe print those sections on features you’ll use.Important: As noted by other reviews, burn from software files. After saving your project, create a file and then drop and burn to your disc. You will save a lot of discs that don’t work properly.Right now I’m on day 5 waiting for tech support to tell me how to remove the red box and words ROOT MENU on the premier slideshow main screen. The manual doesn’t even touch on that so I hope tech support knows. = Tech didn’t understand the question. After several emails, they finally said, Oh, you want to change what it says. OMG!In all, not a bad program. If you liked 1, you’ll like 2 as long as you don’t mind losing audio created with 1.UPDATE: New improved software has a limit of 4 slide shows per DVD – period. EC&D1 was limited by the disc space, not the number of shows. That’s a downgrade.

and hasn’t been burning items on cd’s anymore. Many vechicles may not come with cd players anymore but the one I have has one and I don’t really want to pay for spotify. I actually still have cd’s but don’t want to wear them out playing the original too much, plus also have playlists from individual songs I’ve purchased so prefer to make a cd to put individual songs I like on it.I have only done two cd’s with this software so far. I was truly amazed today that when I put it in the car to listen to it, it actually showed the title of the song being played, never ever got that from windows media player – now don’t get me wrong, I liked it for a long time because it was great to create playlists and such, but it isn’t being supported anymore anyway, but media player never put the song title onto it so it got displayed in the car, where as this one did. It impressed me enough to want to write a review

Advert said it would copy dvd to where I want it, It would not do that, Archaic software, A total loss for me.
