Great stocking stuffer for the whole family!
Literally an easy to grasp, interactive experience for the whole family. I think the quality of the board to the pieces and box are quite great for the price. I genuinely believe this can be enjoyed for a long time especially with updates.

Lots of fun
If you like scene it then Clipology is great. We love it and play it over and over. So much fun worth the money.

Tough challenges, but a pretty cool game overall.
We purchased this game along with Hitster, a song trivia game that uses live playback of music. Clipology is actually quite difficult! It’s a good game, but you really need to know a lot of genres, eras, and scripts. If you love movie trivia, this game is definitely for you!

LOVE IT
This was a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, and he absolutely loved it. We both love trivia and movies, so this was a perfect fit. It’s hard to play if you are in an area that doesn’t have good service for your phone, the app can be glitchy. But we have played several times, for hours and rarely have the same question. It uses a lot of the same clips, which can be boring, but the questions are different.I’m BEGGING, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do a HORROR movie version. I would buy it soooo fast. A couple of them actually. One for my house and several for friends that live far off.

Fun game, very laggy.
Great concept, just difficult and the website appears to lag and reset quite a bit, meaning you sometimes get the same questions over again. A for effort, but the website needs work!

Fun and interesting
Fun game, maintained interest for all of us. My 10yo nephew wanted to play again and again (with a couple gals in their 40s – haha). Setup was fairly easy (and it worked seamlessly despite our lackluster internet). You can play individually or as teams, and you can play a short or long game. There are many options included in the instructions that offer alternative ways to play certain aspects of the game.We have played this several times now (individually) and only two clips appeared more than once – but the questions were different so it was never a repeat. I think a larger group with teams would make this even better! This was fun, and I got it on sale – but even at full price, it’s a fun party game that is definitely worth a try!

Fun Game!
Great game; fun for a group. You will need to pair it with your phone or iPad.

So much fun
Instructions are easy to read. This makes a perfect game for us and our teenagers. We play this game several times a week with our family.

Fun game played with teenager children – worth the money

Bello bello!

A great game and very easy to get through. The app is very glitchy tho and needs refining. Easiest to play with an iPad close by.

We picked this up on sale for a family game night, and it ended up being quite popular. The board game itself is quite standard for a trivia game – you roll two dice, one with a number and one with a symbol, then move the number of spaces indicated by the first dice and do the action on the second. The actions range from generic questions from a card to the game’s main gimmick – video clip questions. These come in a variety of formats, with some questions being surprisingly difficult even if you’re familiar with the movie in question. The variety of question types is pretty good, and it felt like there was also a good mix of genres and older and newer movies. The board game supports 2-4 players, but if you have more (or less) you have two options – we chose to play in teams because we aren’t huge movie buffs, but the website also has a ‘party’ mode, which just asks random questions endlessly and can be played without the board game.Since this game depends on a cloud service, I do have concerns about it being shut down eventually – rendering the board game functionally useless as the game can’t be played without the online component. The online requirement does introduce some potential benefits too though – namely the option to improve the game. I’d really like to see them add a bit more configurability since right now you’re effectively stuck with 1 question timer and no control over question categories, making it tough for younger players to compete. Being able to select the timer length and genre that a question will use would go a long way to making it easier for kids to play along.
