Good for Jeep JK
The unique round vents on my Jeep JK have been a challenge for vent mount phone holders. I do recommend vent holders because the fan or AC really cools the phone. Important for this one: have the clips lined up vertically or it will pop out.

Ordered this one for my gf as she has a jeep and the kind I have isn’t compatible with her vent format. Being that this said it was for the type of jeep she has, I thought it would be perfect, but it’s horrible. The things that are supposed to secure the holder to the vent are not sturdy and don’t stay in place. As well, the heat from the vent seems to be melting the plastic or adhesive which is further loosening the grip. Phone holder constantly falls while driving with slight bumps and vibrations.

Doesn’t Fit a Jeep Wrangler
We ordered 2 of these phone holders and neither one of them works the way they are advertised and as a result, they can’t be used. I can use one in my Prius because the clamp fits nicely on my AC vents. But, if you look at the description of what we were supposed to get, the clamp was supposed to go out and fit inside the round vent rather than clamp on something in the vent. This is not what we got. I attempted to contact the seller to find out what happened and get the problem resolved, but never received anything back from them. NOT HAPPY!

Wonât stay up
I liked the idea of this type of phone mount for my Jeep Wrangler as there arenât many air vent options. But when you place your phone in the holder, it starts to face down. With or without the case, the phone is too heavy to stay in an up position 🙁

Ok.. if you have a Jeep JK with the round vents, this holder will work. Attach to the bottom vent blade and it will stay there. It keeps the vent from turning, and holds the phone firmly in place.
