Incredibly Useful Resource!
This programming set is an excellent resource for learning C# and C++. The book offers a well-structured progression from basics to advanced concepts, with an interactive guide for hands-on practice. The exercises and examples are designed to develop practical coding skills for various applications. I appreciated how accessible Reed’s writing style was, truly making and breaking down complex topics, so that theyâre easy to understand. The content covers essential programming concepts, setting up a C++ environment, syntax, data types, variables, operations, loops, decision-making, and creating custom functions. I really liked the inclusion of a glossary; it helped me plenty while reading and ended up being a handy reference for me. Because of the clear and approachable writing style, it helps you retain information from the basics to more advanced topics. While C++ may seem intimidating initially, this book breaks it down into manageable sections, making it an ideal resource Iâd highly recommend for those new to programming or even advanced programmers to help enhance their skills!

Very good for beginners
Since I was looking forward to expand my knowledge in programming and coding, I was happy to see the next book in this series that servers as an introduction to brand new concepts for me. It was nice to see howwell-suited for beginners like me this was, offering clear and concise explanations of programming terminology and principles, basically everything needed to build a strong foundational understanding. An interesting thing was that I didnât know C++ was being perceived by some as an old coding language since it was such an unfamiliar topic for me nor was I aware of how important it was in gaming and big data so I can say I definitely learned a lot on this. I was surprised with just how much information it could fit in this book set.Overall, I think this practical guidance helps whoever is interested quickly apply what they’ve learned in real-world scenarios.

An Extensive Work
This all-in-one package for learning C# and C++ covers all the bases. Without missing a beat, readers will dive headfirst into the meat of the piece. The author expertly breaks down complex principles into easily followable practical steps, rendering this a truly valuable asset. This is a significant bonus for those looking to get the most out of this work.Although I am familiar with C++ as a coding language, my knowledge in this area is limited. As I had never received a formal introduction to it, this book presented a greater challenge for me. Nevertheless, my struggle with the intricacies of the subject is entirely attributed to my deficiency in fundamental foundational principles, rather than the level of difficulty presented in the book. For individuals with a basic understanding of coding, this book would be an excellent resource for learning, advancing, or refreshing their skills.

An excellent resource!
The author made this easy to understand, and it was written well. The author did a great job writing this, and did a lot of research. The book explained what C++ programming is, and gave some great ideas for how to learn it. It offers great learning strategies for people who just begin to learn coding, and explains how to do it.Being a teacher, I wanted to learn coding when I was younger as a college student, but they taught it to fast. I wasn’t able to keep up. So books like this are great for people who want to learn how to code. without having to give up. The author made some great ideas for people to learn coding.I give this book a 5 star rating, and hope to read more from the author to learn more about coding.

Good value
I really like how this book is actually multiple books in one. It is a great buy. I found the guide to be comprehensive and easier to understand than some other guides out there for computer languages. Sometimes, the language used to explain basic principles is too esoteric for beginners to understand. This book is not like that. I found that the bookâs organization and language is well done. I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning more about coding. The step- by -step instructions and examples are very helpful. Overall, I think that this is a great addition to your education in computers.

Coding for beginners
“C# & C++: 5 Books in 1” by Mark Reed promises a comprehensive guide for beginners to advanced programmers, but falls short in delivering quality content. The book suffers from numerous errors, inconsistencies, and a lack of depth, making it unsuitable for both novice and experienced coders. The beginner sections are confusing, the intermediate sections lack context, and the advanced sections merely skim over complex topics without proper explanations. Overall, this book fails to provide a solid foundation or meaningful insights into C# and C++ programming, leaving readers frustrated and ill-equipped to master these languages effectively

This guide stands out in the crowded field of programming books. The author did a great job explaining complex topics with ease. The practice projects to test your understanding are a highlight, providing real-world applications of the concepts learned. The advanced features, especially programming in C#, were presented in an easily understandable manner. I feel much more confident in my coding skills now.”

This is a very different book to the other ones Maria Reed authored and which I read. This book was so comprehensive that I learnt basic coding within just a couple of days of starting to read it. The firsts two books are focused on C++ while the last three are on C#. The instructions are also clear so anyone who is new to programming would also be able to follow. I also liked the images Maria has included throughout the work which aids retention. In all, an all-encompassing guide.
Good book will get you through basics and advanced propgraming things!pleasure to read –
Great book, with a lot content.

Libro en inglés, reseña en inglés.First the good:-You actually start with C++, the first two “books” are about it and the last three about C#. A lot of people will suggest you start learning C# and then switch to C++ but I like this book opted for what people suggest around Reddit, which is starting with C++.-The language used to explain things is easy, I learnt the level of English I have (which is average) completely alone, playing videogames and I have no degree or certification, yet I can comfortably understand this book. And it’s not too dense, but not too superficial either. The bad:-NO INDEX. Pretty much self-explanatory. You get parts of the book where they list a lot of terms (page 95) with several pages of concepts in coding but if you want to check one in particular you have to go through the pages searching specifically for it. Hilariously it says in such page to keep the index and glossary of the book as reference lol It appears to me as if they had made an index for each book but since they joined several ones in one they didn’t want to bother creating a new index.-The first 6 chapters (C++) have displayed screenshots of examples and works that are barely visible. Many of them have a copy online so as long as the links are working it’s not such an issue, but it’s clearly very unpleasant anyway.Honestly the book is “only” â¬38 but with no index and such issues about the screenshots at the start made me regret the purchase. Won’t return it but I opted for buying other book, one by Slobodan DmitroviÄ named “Modern C++ for Absolute Beginners” (second edition) which does have an index and has a more amicable printing.También recomiendo a otros hispanoparlantes que quieran aprender a programar “Everything You Need to Ace Computer Science and Coding in One Big Fat Notebook”. Es supuestamente para adolescentes de paises angloparlantes, pero vale para cualquiera que quiera familiarizarse con los conceptos de programación.
