Bought this to make taking temps from my kids easier, faster and more accurate. Love the app and the fact that you can assign and track temperatures across multiple profiles. That makes it super handy when you and everyone else in the house inevitably catches whatever âpatient zeroâ brings home and you need to track who clears the 24-hour fever-free threshold first. You can select the age range of the person you are taking a reading from and utilize the nightlight feature to make aiming for the ear easier on younger, more fidgety kids as well as any ornery teenager/adult. Itâs also an FSA/HSA eligible purchase which is a nice plus. As are the ear probe covers too. So glad I got over the sticker shock and just bought it. Definitely worth it.

Great and accurate thermometer
The Braun thermometer is excellent and highly accurate. I chose the Bluetooth version to easily collect and store my child’s data in an app, making it convenient to track patterns for newborns and toddlers. While it is more expensive than other products, I’m willing to pay extra for better quality when it comes to my kids.

THIS PRODUCT IS TRASH
I believe I added this thermometer to my baby shower registry and I just want yo warn those who are considering the same thing. I didnât have to use it much when my baby was very young. But now that he is 11 months old and sick, this product has failed me . Itâs not easy getting an 11 month old to sit still and The minute the thermometer hit the floor it busted open and the batteries fell out, but what makes it even better is that now itâs completely broken even though I put the batteries back in and replace them with fresh batteries. This is a terrible product, not worth the money, I am furious!

Works well – and seems accurate
I like this thermometer a lot. It is relatively easy to use too. Although I can not seem to set the âageâ on it so that you do not have to choose an age each time you use it. (I followed the directions but no luck.) It doesnât make a big difference in reading anyway but if you have a little baby, I suppose you want to try and be as accurate as possible. Otherwise, it works fine and is super easy to use and read. And the reading is SUPER quick – like instant!Just know that you NEED to use one of the covers included â and then will have to purchase more in the future â as the machine will NOT work without a cover on it. It apparently knows if there is one attached or not â and will tell you so. So that may be the only prohibitive thing to others. A replacement set of 40 is currently available from Braun here on Amazon for about 6 bucks. For me personally, it makes no difference as I am using this ONLY for me so I use the same cover repeatedly. So far it has worked for like dozens of measurements without issue. I will only change mine when I really need to then.PLUS, my first one I ordered was apparently defective. The batteries arrived dead on arrival and not only did I have to put new batteries in but I had to change the batteries or at least remove and put back in EACH time I wanted to use the machine as it would not turn back on otherwise. This only happened with the first one and it was easy enough to return through Amazon by dropping off at Whole Foods. They sent a replacement right out to me too â and this one WORKS. : )The only thing I am unsure about is the base. It is very bulky and doesnât attach to a wall or anything. It does serve the purpose of keeping the reading tip safe as well as store the entire little box of replacement covers right in the base too. So, I guess that is something.Enjoy your day! : )

Have Tried multiple thermometers and very happy with this Braun thermometer. It gives reading in seconds with ear. It also has light to check in night time on how much is the temperature of kids. Overall very happy with my purchase, very accurate reading, also can see how much was the previous reading last time which is very helpful to check. additional feature which I like is it has colorful lights to show how much is the temperature with red, yellow and green color lights.
