I took this watch for kiddo. Itâs that time, time for school, so I wanted to ensure early education to get familiar with time, duties and schedules but also to have some fun.This is where this watch came about.For the first watch, this one offers more than just a âtoyâ. Even though it might feel in some aspects, when you think about who it is for itâs pretty decent product.It looks cute, and the bend material, I guess silicone, is very comfortable. Length might be a bit large for some kids, but I guess they targeted older kids, and Iâm talking about 1st grader.Watch offers more than you can imagine, itâs almost like a real world smart watch. Iâm not going to assess sensor precision, but this watch has a step counter, heart rate, sleep tracker, sport activities, etc.., what else you can think of for kids. In addition, and this is really important, the watch is also waterproof.Of course, since itâs for kids, there are also games available.All in all, an amazing first watch that will make kiddos happy and hopefully aware of the importance of being on time, but weâll see about that :-)Final verdict: 5 stars

Review of ## BIGGERFIVE Kids Smart Watch, 1.8″ Fitness Watch Pedometer ##A smart looking well made childrens watch that has plenty of features.I have another of these that looks similar to this unit and so I am familiar using an app that goes with it. The Biggerfive app that this watch uses is very similar and has the same controls and setting that many other smartwatches of this type have. The Smart watch connects with it easily and setting it up is easy.The watch has many functions including Heart Rate Monitor, Sleep Tracker which seem to read well enough but this is not, and does not pretend to be a medical device so the accuracy of the reading can’t be relied on but give a good indication of change of rates.The pedometer function is similar to the one I already use and the step count is on a par with it but again it works best for comparison from one day to another rather than an absolute reading.The watch has a good alarm and timer.To increase the battery life it is good to turn off the ‘raise to wake’ function. This does mean that you need to press the button to see the face light up but this increases the time between charges considerably and I can now get at least two weeks between charges which is excellent.The watch face can be changed, this is good because some of the faces are very poor but it is easy to find a free one to load on the watch and this can be done easily via the app.If you do not want a watch that connects to the app this watch works very well in a stand alone configuration but of course some of the functionality is lost but it is still a great choice.

Wir haben für unser Kind (8 Jahre) eine Uhr gesucht, die sowohl in der Freizeit als auch in der Schule gut funktioniert und sind bis jetzt zufrieden mit dieser Uhr. Wichtig war für uns, dass das Display der Uhr groà und kinderfreundlich ist, damit die Uhrzeit gut abgelesen werden kann. Für “Uhrzeit-Anfänger” sehr zu empfehlen. Die Uhr bietet zwar viele verschiedene Funktionen wie Schrittzähler, Distanzmessung Kalorienverbrauch und noch einige mehr, die für uns aber nicht relevant waren und daher auch nicht getestet wurden. Persönlich viel nützlicher finden wir den Wecker, den Timer und die Stoppuhr. Beispielsweise stellen wir den Timer/Wecker, wenn unser Kind zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit nach Hause kommen soll, das funktioniert super. Ein weiterer Vorteil: Die Uhr ist wasserdicht. Beim schnellen Händewaschen ist in der Vergangenheit die Uhr oft nass geworden oder es wurde bei wilden Wasserschlachten im Sommer vergessen, dass die Uhr ja noch am Arm hängt. Das ist jetzt zum Glück kein Problem mehr. Die Verknüpfung zur App haben wir bis jetzt noch nicht ausprobiert, obwohl sie zusätzliche Funktionen bietet. Aber für uns hat die Uhr auch ohne App alles was uns wichtig war.
