Affordable investment for standard needs
I got this for my children. It came at a convenient time when our laptop went out. My oldest uses this for his school work and my youngest for educational apps. Both boys have games that they’ve downloaded and play all the time from the Google Play store.I find it charges slower than I would like but holds the charge for a decent while. We’ve even managed to play a movie from Amazon prime on it and the battery lasted the entire time with battery power left over. The volume sucks but we connect speakers so that’s not an issue. There’s also a jack for headphones or bluetooth available.It seems to have decent capabilities like YouTube, searching the net, connecting to wifi perfectly fine, and has some storage, usb and sim card features, among downloading your favorite apps. That’s all we’ve done so far but I’m sure there’s pics, videos, calendar, calculator, and other standard apps. Overall, this is a great affordable investment and I’m glad that we have it. I do recommend getting a case for it. Good luck!

You can pair it with your phone without using a SIM card
I bought this to use outdoors. Of course t Mobil says it won’t work with their system. So I need an expensive Samsung brand. Plus a separate policy for tablets for $20 a mo. Plus a new card with a second phone # and another $25 turn on fee. So I left there, and the phone repair store, showed me how to go into my phone settings, and choose hotspots, and put in my password. And as long as my phone is nearby, I can use my cellular data on this tablet, with no need for a SIM card. And your phone still works the same. Just turn that hotspot button off, when not in use, to save data. So far I like it. It would not charge at first. The plug was bad, but the wire was okay. So I changed it out. It took 24hrs to charge 100%. I am happy with it.

Fairly Okay Tablet
The tablet works pretty okay, it’s not the best tablet, has some performance issues, but otherwise it works fine.RAM is a pretty limiting factor as well along with the CPU for this tablet. So just don’t expect to have a lot of applications open.

Died After A Month
I woke up this morning to find a dead tablet. When I booted into recovery mode the battery meter said it had 0% charge. Don’t buy a tablet that will die in a month.

Dated hardware which results in clunky OS performance
I was hoping this would be a bit more impressive as far as performance. I even thought that the OS would be as “snappy” and responsive as a modern smartphone or tablet, but it’s not. As for the hardware it has an 8-core, ARM Cortex-A55 (which was first released around 2018 to 2020) paired with some form of a Mali-Gxx series GPU. It does stream video just fine and and there are no issues with general functionality; it’s just slow. It takes about 30 seconds to fully boot from a fully powered off state. Even swiping and browsing through the Android menus and settings there’s a noticeable delay. It ships with a plain installation of Android 12 OS, so no bells and whistles as you might get from a major brand like Samsung or LG with enhanced camera or other built-in apps. You won’t be able to flash it to a custom OS (like GrapheneOS) because no one is creating distributions for the proprietary hardware combination this tablet uses. You’re pretty much stuck with Android 12 because it’s not going to receive any OS upgrades. The charging / data port is USB-C, so a plus on that. The integrated Wi-Fi has B/G/N support and I didn’t run into any issues getting connected to a 2.4 GHz router on the N band. I only intended to use this around the house, so I’m not using the LTE functions. It does have an FM radio tuner built in. Note, you’ll have to turn off airplane mode and plug in a set of wired headphones to launch it since the device uses the headphone cords as an antenna. Overall, this would be fine for web browsing, e-mail, streaming video, etc. but don’t expect to play any modern games (especially anything 3D) on this tablet.

Great tablet for any occasion!
I recently got the Azpen 8in tablet, and it’s genuinely impressive. Running on Android 12 with an Octa Core CPU, everything feels smooth. The 3GB RAM ensures seamless multitasking, and the 32GB storage provides ample space for apps and files. The dual cameras capture quality photos, and the IPS HD display is vibrant and sharp.
