This is my STONE COLD LOCK OF THE CENTURY of the week
This is basically the longest ATHF episode they’ll ever make it’s basically a 1 hour or so special that they called a movie for theaters only you know what your getting into going in and if someone uses this as their introduction to ATHF well thats fine it’ll make no sense whatsoever and alot of joke and references to past episodes wont make sense but it provides an incentive to watch the show and see those episodes so your next go at the movie you get the references

A borderline twisted and hilarious poop post based on a series I’m pretty sure never needed a movie
Never before have I watched a movie that practically had a nonexistent plot but remained so entertaining. Much like the show its based on (and ironically closer to its infamous panned videogame) the movie for Aqua Teen Hunger Force is straight up trolling and dare I say its the funniest feature length piece of trolling I’ve ever seen. If you just wanna turn off your brain entirely, have a surreal sense of humor/like surreal shows or want to watch a hilarious movie you don’t even need to see the show to be like “this is epic” Critics go home you aint gonna like this. The average person probably will.

Such beauty, words do not do it justice
Never before has a film managed to redefine the very concept of cinema as dramatically and with such flourish as Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. From the very beginning, the viewer is thrust into a spectacle that rivals 2001: A Space Odyssey in sheer scope and technical achievement. For a film that delves deeply into heady topics of the nature of humanity, women’s rights, race in a post-modern world, and the existence (or lack thereof) of God(s), ATHFCMFfT manages to stay accessible and down to earth. Thought provoking and insightful to a fault, it never seems preachy or as though the filmmakers had an agenda. Matt Malleiro shows his pedigree by paying homage to the great directors of the past and present with nods to Cronenberg, Svankmeier, Lynch, Kubrick, Sirk, Buñuel, Fellini, Scorcese, Jodorowsky, Griffith, Selznick, and even Aronofsky amd Del Toro littered throughout. Truly, I have seen the face of God and he has mad manifest by this chef d’oeuvre, this most glorious of experiences, this crowning achievement that casts to ruin all other paltry attempts at artistry that came before it and those that have yet to pay for their arrogance.

    some fine cinema indeed
the best episode they ever made. if you like the show youll like this. for the unfamiliar youll probably have a good time if youre into non-sequiter/improv heavy, crass stoner humor. its def an aquried taste thats not for everyone. its quite literally just the show but longer and uncensored. great for those who turned 20 and stopped maturing mentally past that hahahah

Did you expect it to be Oscar material?
I am an Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan. I belong to a yahoo group for their fans in fact. I understood the movie, (So many people who didn’t know what they were looking at are the critics of this movie) I was not happy with the choices they made for plot and they could have made this better. I think they should have had people who are experts at writing full featured movies handle this film. The thing I loved most about ATHF is their side splitting moments. I found not even one in the movie. I was so disappointed. The preposterous, intelligence insulting, plot was dull. We were supposed to learn their origins. WHAT????? Watermelon alien? Burrito? Lincoln? Pyramid? Exercise machine? No original theme song? They ruined what is a little show which is a guffaw a noment and made something that even the most hardened fan can not fathom. I give it 3 stars for what it could have been and Oooh Boy it could have shown everyone what we fans know, ATHF is a fresh inovative idea that should have had your sides splitting. Williams Street is wonderful at making the show, but they really needed full feature experts. I also think they mistakenly thought most people understood ATHF. They should have explained the movie like no one ever saw ATHF before. I am just afraid that this means curtains for ATHF on cartoon network. What a tragedy! Buy the DVD anyway, I saw it on the first day in the theaters, but I must admit, I did find some funny parts the second time around when I watched the video. I recommend non fans watch ATHF TV show vidoes first. You will see why they got the chance to make a movie.

They don’t make em like this anymore.
It’s a movie about a show. If you enjoy 11 minutes of the show you’re in for a treat. Also features possibly the best fictional video game of all time.

Two copies from seller, both slashed over the UPC, neither works properly
The movie itself is phenomenal this is a review of the seller. My brother ordered this same DVD (“brand new!” As the seller posts it) for me for Christmas. I was super excited to open it and play it, then I discovered the box was sliced across the UPC with a razor, pictured with this review. I like my movies to be in good shape, so this was already a bad start. I also just discovered it could be a prohibited item:https://sellercentral.amazon.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=168051Second, I popped the disc into my Xbox One and it didn’t read it. Then my PS4, then two PCs and none of them read either the first or second disc. So I sent that one back and reordered another one from the same seller since he was the cheapest. Just got my copy yesterday and it has the same telltale slash across the UPC and the movie only works until 1 hour 7 minutes then freezes. The special features disc won’t play any of the “fake endings” even after being left there to try for over 15 minutes in any of my players. I will never buy from this seller again.

If for some reason you stumble across this DVD without having seen the series, log onto Adult Swim and watch an episode. Only then will you know whether or not this is for you. Yes, it’s a surreal animated sitcom about various anthropomorphised fast food snacks, but it’s vastly different the other cartoon’s it’s so often compared to (Family Guy, South Park),so like anything else in life, you won’t be able to tell if you’ll like unless you experiance it first. If you have seen the series, and want to see more than eleven minutes of Meatwad at a time, then this film doesn’t disapoint. What works in the show manages to fill 80 minites without feeling recycled, and the plot, despite various excursions, is actually quite linear. The Aqua Teen’s past is revealed and Dr Wierd gets more than a bit part, so for fan’s it is a rewarding experiance. However, if as a fan, you wish to introduce somebody to ATHF, this would be the wrong way to go about it.In short, if you like the series, buy this.

Thought I was buying a new copy of this movie but the seal had been broken and there were a few minor finger prints on the disc upon removing plastic wrap. Can’t even get past the main dvd menu without the disc freezing and disc 2 won’t even register as a dvd in my player. There seem to be other people with similar issues with this item, so maybe a manufacturers defect? I had been excited to get it but I was very disappointed with this item.

Frylock, MasterShake and Meatwad as its best! For this movie the producers opened up their heads and smashed their brains together, to create a very funny and bizarre adventure of indestructible madness and insanity. The Soundtrack is just awesome, featuring tracks from Mastodon, Nashville Pussy and many others. But what I love the most is the bonus-DVD; packed with tons of extras! a dozen fake-endings, a deleted-scenes special moderated by Shake and Meatwad, Music videos, an artwork gallery, a featurette with the producers and of course the complete movie in a previous version with different scenes and including raw material. If you like the TV episodes, you really should see this movie.
