It was a little confusing at first to understand the process of viewing. You donât need an app. On an iPhone you just go to your âfileâ folder, with reader connected, insert your sd card, then another location (in the file folder) will pop up, just click on that and more files will pop up(you will now be viewing your sd card information), once you do it a couple times itâs really simple. Itâs a great value for being able to view files/pictures. It can fit in your pocket.

I had a card reader for iOS devices a few years back, and for some reason it no longer will show up on my phone. I got this one as a replacement as it seemed to have several good options for external connections, as well as a USB-C adapter so that the phone I get next year will also work and it be more “future proofed.”Works great, connects fast, transfers in a reasonable amount of time. Cost less than the one I got years back. Would order again!!!

Use this to download jpegs off of my bridge cameraâs sd card. Very simple, use ouncluded usb c adapter and plug that into card readerâs lightning plug, then plug into my iphone 15 pro max. Then open windows app, using ios 18 btw, and see external device. Tap in that and I see images to download. Can select individual or all and they all download into my photo app. Easy peasy. Highly recommend.

A neat little SD card reader that worked well transferring photos from my camera SD card on to my laptop using the USB C-Type fitting. This little product comes delivered inside its own box. The product I received had the USB C to Lightning connector separate and with a soft plastic cable attached so that it could easily be fixed to the main cable.This is designed for iPhones and iPads, and is able to use both Lightning and USB C connections. The Lightning connector on the cable plugs into the USB C attachment in order to have a USB plug if your product uses C rather than Lightning. A nice idea meaning one product can be used for multiple versions of iPhones and iPads.The unit is designed to read full size SD SDHC and SDXC cards, plus microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards. There is also an additional USB port for flash drives. Whilst the SD cards are primarily used here for photography, the USB port will also allow transfer of data files to and from the phone/tablet.On a simple review test, I can say that this product does work – although for people used to using iTunes for copying pictures and files, there will be a small learning curve, that is only to be expected. Because it works, I did give this a 4 star rating.I have dropped one star here because of an issue plugging the USB C into my phone, something that I haven’t experienced before with other iPhones or iPads. Whilst the USB C plug seemed to be the same size and shape of other USB Cs I have for my iPhone 16 Pro Max, the plug on this “reader” was not easy to push into my phone and I even had to move the case to get it in. There doesn’t appear to be any fault with the USB C plug, it just didn’t want to slide into the phone easily. I will have to wait and see what other reviewers make of this product because it is possible the one I received has a small flaw. Had this plugged easily into my phone, the same as other USB C products I have, then I would certainly have considered a 5 star rating here.

I needed a media reader for my iPad to download and view images from the trail cameras set up on our property. Other readers Iâve tried didnât work as they were either USB or USB-C, but this one has the Lightning port reader I needed for my iPad Pro (which is 2 or 3 years old now). It works seamlesslyâessentially plug and playâand it also comes with an adapter to convert it to USB-C, so I can use it on my phone as well. All in all, very pleased with it.
