“I urge everyone to read this important new book.”—Ron Paul, Host of Ron Paul Liberty Report
Americans are facing sticker shock at every turn: from the gas pump to the grocery store and every kind of consumer service. But the eye-popping price increases are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the threat to the country’s economic recovery. Inflation showers windfalls on the rich while penalizing workers, savers, retirees, small businesses, and most of Main Street economic life.
New York Times bestselling author and former investment manager David A. Stockman, who served as director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Reagan, explains the roots of today’s runaway inflation so investors at all levels can calibrate their financial strategies to survive and thrive despite economic uncertainty.
The Great Money Bubble covers the entire economic landscape, including:
Why the rising price of assets is far more dangerous than rising consumer pricesThe inside story on stock market manipulations and the effects of ultracheap debtWhy real estate is no longer a guaranteed inflationary hedgeStockman’s four-step strategy to protect your savings and portfolio
After spearheading the economic policy for the Reagan Revolution, Stockman worked on Wall Street at the highest levels, and is now an adviser to professional investors. With this book, readers at all investment levels can have access to his groundbreaking financial advice.

great book on what went wrong
Pick up a copy and learn how we got into this financial mess. When I finished this book, I am wondering why we have a Federal Reserve system. This book will have you asking questions you should be asking yourself and sharing with others. If you want a great book about the Federal Reserve and how it was formed. Please read The creature from Jekyll Island.

Key advice on how to survive the coming financial crisis!
David Stockman provides an excellent diagnosis of our downward spiraling economy. Washington’s infernal inflation machine has much to do with it, having generated a massive debt tsunami. The debt to GDP ratio has become untenable. The severity of the situation is becoming quite evident now as we witness the middle-class erode in real-time. He uses the Steak-to-Chicken ratio to point out how people are changing their spending habits (e.g. less steak, more chicken which is cheaper). He digs into lunatic valuations of companies, real estate, and provides his take on cryptocurrency. He concludes with extremely valuable information on how to protect oneself in the coming storm. This alone is worth the price of admission!

Interesting
I bought this for my husband because he was very interested in reading this book. He has stated multiple times that itâs a very difficult read and has way too much information in his hard to follow. He still reading it but not enjoying it or getting enough out of it as he thought he would.

great explanation of asset inflation
90% of this book is great. Weâve been printing money with the goal of 2 percent inflation, not realizing that asian imports and IMO cheap labor from immigrants have been disguising the real inflation from the CPI. MY only criticism is his recommendations are more fear mongering about a crash. I missed out on a decade of gains in stocks and real estate because everyone kept promising a crash that never happened. Iâd be asking âhow can i also take advantage of inflation?â

Right book at the Right Time
Itâs clear the Fed and other so called money experts have made a mess of the financial system in the US and across the world. The days of easy money are gone. David Stockman provides facts about the financial bubble that exists. I highly recommend this book to anyone wondering about the real state of our economic and financial situation and how to best navigate it.

Stockman outlines our current economic situation. Decades of aggressive money printing and ultra-low interest rates. Have resulted in massive economic distortions. Stockman lists all sorts of examples. Things like; debt to GDP ratios, individual stock valuations, negative real return bond markets, and of course, crazed retail investor speculation levels. The reader soon realizes. We are living in a world of money madness. The weak area of the book is the concluding chapter. The conclusion was somewhat underwhelming, compared to the rest of the book. Stockman outlines various investor protection strategies. However, he overlooks the possibility of a debt default and or paper currency collapse.Readers will walk away with, a full understanding of modern central banking. And how central bankers affect, both financial markets and the economy.
