Video can help you close the deal in a virtual world and this book from award winning marketer and author Marcus Sheridan will show you how. With practical advice and step by step instructions, this is the ultimate guide to selling over video – no matter how much you hate watching yourself on the screen.
More than ever before, buyers and consumers are demanding for more video. Just “reading” about a product, service, or company will no longer do the trick. Today, they must “see” it. Notwithstanding this increased demand for video, most businesses and organizations have struggled to quickly adapt. In fact, many have no idea as to how or where to get started. For this purpose, The Visual Sale was written. Finally, businesses and organizations have a clear guide that will literally show them, in simple, clear, and actionable terms, exactly how they can build a culture of video and start “showing it” moving forward, ultimately leading to a dramatic improvement to their sales numbers, marketing strategy, and overall customer experience.

Don’t Sleep On This Gem
As a videographer this book is a gem! All the ideas and concepts described in this book simply make a lot of sense and they are explained in an easy and comprehensible way.I don’t think I have ever written a review on Amazon but this is absolutely worth it. It sits on my desk and I am continuously referencing it on emails and discovery calls with my clients. It makes you sound smart when talking with clients and showing them how you can help them grow their business with the use of video. Can’t wait to the release of the Audible version of this book! Hope it’s coming soon. This is one of those books that you don’t just read once.

Great book on video!
Some said on here that if you Read Marcus’ other book They Ask You Answer it’s mostly the same content.I disagree. Yes, there’s crossover but I loved Marcus’ first book and it deeply resonated with me. This book is more about the how-to’s of video and They Ask You Answer with a video heavy focus. If you read They Ask You Answer and you’re looking for more- I reccomned this book. The first half of the book is very impactful 5/5The 2nd half is okay. 3/5

Concise, Direct, Impactful
I felt this book was really good at delivering value and insight in a concise and direct manner. It doesn’t take a lot of time to get through, and implementing even some of its information could make a huge impact on your business. It did to mine!

Rehash of his other book They Ask You Answer
If you’ve read They Ask You Answer by Marcus Sheridan then you don’t need this book. Its just a rewrite of all the same content.

The way to grow your business.
Once again Marcus and his team have done it. They wrote the book everyone in sales have to read, to understand the power of showing and not telling. Read this book if you want to stand out and make a difference to your audience. The great thing about it – it’s a blueprint on how to do it. It’s not just words and thoughts. It is hardcore “down to earth” what to do and how to do it. And why it works. This book and Marcus’ first book “They ask – you answer” , should be part of any book collection if you want to know about how to grow your business.

I bought this book… and then I bought two more copies
That’s right.I needed my marketing manager and videographer to read this book – but I didn’t want to give up my copy.I have boxes and boxes of marketing books. Most of those books have one useful (actionable) paragraph per 50 pages or so…The Visual Sale is two hundred and something pages of fire. Here’s why:* The book shows you the first videos you need to make to have an immediate financial impact (so you can justify the cost of videography)(Your CFO is probably a fan of money, right?)* 100% correctomundo about the best ways to build trust using videoI could go on blathering about everything positive about The Visual Sale, but here’s the deal…If you want to be successful using video in your business, buy this book.

Wish I read it sooner.
You know this book is going to be a treasure when other videographers recommends it!! Before I was even a quarter of the way into the book, I was already preaching about the book to other videographers!!! In the book, Marcus asks if you want to see a copy of a certain type of video, to email him to see an example of it. Amazed he replied and added more value in the email!! Thank you Marcus!! Highly recommended!!

This qualifies as our top recommended read of 2020 because it would be hard to read and not be inspired to try something different. There are so many astonishingly bright ideas in the book. It was courageous to write a book about video; an oxymoron. However, there are those like me who are more likely to read the book than watch the video. It was written and published during the COVID pandemic. I love that the authors made thought leadership a central theme of the book. Video is the perfect medium to build trust and thought leadership for your brand. It is great to see the latter part of the book dedicated to tips on how to embed an in-house videographer in the team. We have composed a list of videos to try out on a project.âThe only mistake you can make is not trying to create video at all,â writes Marcus Sheridan in the book The Visual Sale.

I remember reading Marcus’ book “They Ask You Answer” and thinking how cool it was that a simple approach could be so effective, and generate marketing content ideas so easily.I played with video off the back of that book, but this book has helped me to expand the TAYA concept with more variety. There are so many ideas in this book that you will find something you can use.
