There’s more to being a gargoyle’s wife than just saying I do.

While struggling to raise my little sister, I suddenly inherit a run-down B&B from a grandmother I didn’t know existed. The only condition to inherit is that I marry and live with my husband for a year.

One problem. I’m not dating, and the only one I want to propose to is the gargoyle I’ve been crushing on for months. When I explain, Goreg offers a marriage of convenience with a quickie divorce at the end. He’s sweet and shy, and with his muscular frame and glorious wings, I’m kind of blown away by his offer even if he does occasionally turn to stone and lurk on the roof.

I’ve got one year to convince Goreg we have a chance at forever. But then his brothers and wolf shifter best friend move in to help fix up the B&B, and it’s one cultural mishap after another. When the year is up, I’ll have to decide. Do I want to be single again or remain a gargoyle’s bride?

Gargoyles Just Want to Have Fun is set in the Monsterville, USA world. Each book is standalone and can be read in any order. Expect romantic hijinks with monsters, heat, and a happily ever after.

    Great
This but is good and so much fun. It’s steamy and a love story that is a great read. You get lost in the story and are a little sad when it’s over. I can’t wait to see where it goes next.

Hmmm. Bit unsophisticated for my taste
Even young authors can write well if they stick with what they know. When they forget this or ‘stretch’ their abilities a bit too far? It is painfully obvious. I love the covers. I even took a chance & bought book #2. I always check back on authors who aren’t quite there yet to see how they’ve developed… or not.In this case, Ross still has a ways to go. A long ways. Somewhere in there is a nascient storyline begging to be told. While grammar/editing is fine, the characters are too one-dimensional. On top of that, I kept feeling like I was reading a 7th grader’s attempt at adult themes. I just wasn’t persuaded that this was a romance for an adult. Despite the occassional use of vulgar, poorly placed euphemisms that seemed inserted for shock value. Ham fisted at best. Really good authors learn the art of subtlety. Of delivering a story with a focus on the senses. The action of the characters shouldn’t read like a play script.A tad scathing, perhaps. I can see, where Ross might be popular among the teen/YA set; but, for someone with a bit more savvy or sophistication? Move along. Don’t believe me? Do what I should have done, try downloading a sample. As it is, I should have known better before clicking buy, but I am also a sucker for Independent, Young or New authors. I love to find them before the rest of the world does. It will be a while before I check back in again on Ross. DNF.

“I curtsied. “I thank you, kind gargoyle, for taking care of the ferocious beast.””
Violet is risking everything on the chance a grandmother she never met has left her an inheritance that will change her life for the better.Goreg is a Gargoyle who tries to fit in with Humans, and the other so-called Monsters who live among the humans. But understanding women may be the biggest challenge of all. This done in one kindle unlimited book has some delightful laugh out loud scenes, secondary characters that really add to the story and finds its heart in a character with a solid moral compass – she cares for others, treats them fairly, and tries to avoid even accidentally taking advantage of someone, which isn’t always easy when dealing with Gargoyles and their traditions.

    2 unlikely lovers
I really enjoyed this book. I like how Goreg was unsure of himself. He didn’t think a human woman could find him attractive. I like how Violet decided to have a real marriage and not just in name only. I liked how his family accepted her and Haille. I look forward to reading more of this series

    gargoyles having fun
Such a cute story. I loved this book. It has family, close friends and a great storyline. I really liked the plot twist. I would have liked knowing why the main characters grandmother made such an odd requirement of her but not knowing didn’t detract from the story. I liked that this story didn’t drag out making me want to scream at the characters to just get on with it. They were relatable and likable. I look forward to the next installment.

Violet inherits a rundown B&B under the condition to marry in fortyeight hours and live with her husband for a year. Goreg, who admires Violet already tells her he would help her in this case. A marriage of convenience, so it seems.I enjoyed reading the book. It is well written. Both characters suffer from insecurities, but they overcome, so there can be a HEA. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next installment in this series.

A nice Gargoyle with self-confidence issues, a warm, hard-working, deserving woman in need of help and a great new family with HFA. It’s all I need on a gloomy day.
