In a cabin in a wood,
A woman by the window stood.
Glancing out, she thought she heard
Footsteps, whistling, something stirred.
Hiding here, she fears the night,
For what’s done in the dark will come to light.
She must run fast to escape her lie
Or she’ll be the next to die…
The unmissable new thriller from the USA Today bestselling master of edge-of-your-seat reading and screenwriter of Netflix Original movie, The Weekend Away.

Great, easy read!
Story very suspenseful and moved along quickly. Nice character development. I usually do not read books where children are hurt (not a spoiler, itâs revealed in the beginning), but the author handles this sensitive trigger beautifully, as the reader never really gets to know Sienna. I enjoyed this!

New author (for me) keeps the pace moving…
What a refreshing read. Interesting character with an intriguing story. For the first half or more of the book you learn the character’s story told in present time and in flash backs. Both plot lines move quickly and keep you interested. You cautiously begin to pull for the narrator and then this is where we shift gears and the pace picks up even more. Doubt arises, have you misinterpreted what you have come to believe?Previews mentioned a great twist at the end but there were actually several surprises/reveals that provide more clarity to the story and finally provide the satisfying finish.

Best Book I’ve Read in AGES
I was on a camping trip with my family, and this is the book I chose. I literally could not put it down! It hooked me right from the start and took crazy turns that were nonetheless not confusing. On the drive home I read it through the night. Got home and took it to the tub where I finally finished it. Wow!

It was an ok book
This was just an ok book. I’m not sure what all the rave review were for. I’ve read better and I’ve read worse. But this certainly was not a book that I couldn’t put down
