To all those who are looking to start a podcast this is a must buy!
To all those who are looking to start a podcast this is a must buy! This book is very helpful and a super easy read. I personally took a lot away from it! But what makes it even better is that Naresh Vissa is truly there to help! I had a few questions (that I could not find in this book or in any other research I was doing) and he not only replied to my email with the questions, but he did it in the fastest manner possible! Needless to say he has a very loyal fan now!

Short and sweet
This is a pretty good book on Podcasting. Perhaps the only one written within the last year or two. A few tactics are questionable, but I’ll be trying them. Overall it beats any book written the past 7 years. It is pure information there is no filler, although the text is very large.

A step-by-step guide for 1st time podcasters, from basic to advanced
This is literally a step-by-step guide to making a profitable podcast that anyone could follow. It covers the most basic topics, like the history of podcasting, all of the way through advanced topics like how to format the show into segments and following up with guests after the episode airs. I’m planning my first podcast and this book is my bible. Better than all of the other podcasting books I ordered, because it covers the entire process soup to nuts.

Great for Beginners
This is a great book if you are a beginner and know nothing about podcasting. It’s very general and basic. I have been podcasting for 6 months and thought this would give me new ideas about building revenue from my show. It does share some general ideas for revenue, but I was hoping for more depth.Short book. Takes about an hour to read.

Six Dollars and ninty five cents? For what?
I began checking out the text. Start with the first chapter, …making a $million podcasting …helping OTHERS HOW???? …..Then there is the miserly 125 pages, ooops, did I say 125, I should have said approx 110 pages, counting a meaningless intro, 3-4 pages of generalities lifted from some other author, large sized font used in the actual text, (Supersized font used frequently.), double space between lines and triple spaced text at virtually every para. Then there are the galactic separations between chapters. ,,,,,Beginning paragraphs, consuming 31 pages of the 121 are as follows: 1.) Dedication, 2.) About the Author, 3.)Foreword, 4.) introduction, 5.)The death or Radio, 6.) Why Podcast, 7.) Historyof Podcasting. Only upon reaching Chapter 4, (pp 36 of 121 pages)does the reader begin a chapter on “Software and Equipment.” $6.95?

Excellent overview
Knowing very little about the world of podcasting, I was looking for a quick overview. This book provided much more than that. It not only makes a strong case for why you should start, but details how to do it.

Feeling Ripped Off
I’m not sure if the author was genuine in thinking that this is a high quality book or if he simply wrote a very simple book with the intention of making a quick buck. I’d like to believe it was the former. It took me less than an hour to read this book. It really should be a $.99 ebook at best. The font is huge and the type is double spaced. If it was printed like a typical book in this genre, it probably would have been all of 25 pages.Although there are a couple of interesting nuggets of information, the vast majority of information contained is fairly rudimentary. You could get the same info for free simply by Googling “how to start a podcast.”The author claims to be an expert not only in podcasting, but also the world of finance. When reading the book you get the sense that he is more of an aspiring amateur than a true professional…in both fields. There are probably better books out there if you want to learn about podcasting. For $6.95, it’s a rip off.

This book is very short with hilariously large font to make it seem longer. Yet another self published book that lacks any editing…tons of typos and entire sections that are repeated in various places with contradictory figures. This book is click bait and does not deal much with how to make money from a podcast as the title suggests but rather makes the case for why you should start a podcast and superficially explains the process. All of this information is available for free if you google how to start a podcast. I admire the authors entrepreneurial spirit but would not recommend this book as a purchase.
